Educational blocks that kept my kids entertained!
I had previously bought the Elephant set and my kids love the blocks so much that I went back and bought more. This time I bought this Giraffe Family to add to our budding Blocos Jr blocks collection. Immediately my 5year old was so excited to open up this set and started playing with it immediately after it was delivered to our home. This time with some experience under her belt, she happily put together the Giraffes without any assistance.What I really like are the sturdy blocks, easy to put together, and the versatility in using the blocks to build different things. I like the friendly looking designs and my kids (preschoolers) really had a great time playing together. They fit together well and are easy to assemble. The pieces are made of plastic and hold up well. As a Mom, I really appreciate toys that have a lot of replay possibilities so that I feel like I'm getting my money's worth. The best things are that they are an educational toy to help my kids develop problem solving skills, hand eye coordination, and exploring their creativity. It's also portable because it comes with a resealable plastic bag! We'll probably be packing this on our next trip to take along.

Not quite what I expected, but may still prove worthwhile.
I guess I didn't read the description of this item carefully enough, as I purchased this product as a "stocking stuffer" for my 2-year old granddaughter. Once received, I realized it is not appropriate for her once due to small pieces that could pose a choking hazard. Luckily, I do have older children in the family who might enjoy this item. Rather than sending it back, I will add it to "grandma's toy box" for the kids to discover and play with under my supervision.

My kids and I recently discovered the fun in putting together the new Blocos toy. My son loves Legos and animals, and since the Blocos characters seem to be primarily animals, the toy is a good fit for my son.The price for a basic Blocos set ($12) is cheaper than a basic Lego set, so that's a plus too.My son is 7 and he was able to put it together with guidance. Some of the tinier parts were tricky but we got the hang of it after a couple of animals.I was surprised by how much my son played with this. He seemed to be re-creating a scene from a zoo.All in all , this is a great set that my son will surely play with a long time!

A good way to keep young kids entertained without the use of electronics! I gave a pack of these away as a gift and kept the other to keep in my purse as "emergency" for the next time I go out with young kids. I think every restaurant should have these!

Great blocks!
These are so cute!! I have included 3 photos each photo has all the blocks. The frist photo shows the "mom" and "calf" and the 2 extra blocks. The second shows the "calf" and all the extra blocks. The third shows the "dad" and the 5 extra peice. You can bluid the "mom" and "calf" togther or the "dad". I have a 4 year old who loves to build and she was able to follow the instructions and build each one on her own, kept her bus over an hour. The blocks are good quality and go together really easy (but do not fall apart). It comes in a ziploc bag so it is easy to travel with. I would say age 4+ I also have a 2 1/2 year old and she was able to push them together and she was having fun with them but she wasn't able to build any of the gariffes. They do come with small peices so I would never leave them alone with a young child (anyone under 4 for sure). I want to get the other sets now! My 4 year old has played with them 4 or 5 times in the last week great for rainy days or quite time. I would recommend to friends and family.I received this product free or discounted to review. This is my honest unbiased opinion.
