The specs say that the finished piece is 38cmx38cm. That is approximately 15" x 15". Was the canvas large enough? Where did you begin to stitch?

I haven't started the project but have done many. If u look at the pattern, there is a red line running horizontally and vertically. Follow the 2 lines till they meet in the middle of the pattern. This will be the center and starting point. Fold the canvas horizontally and vertically and you'll find the center and starting point of the canvas. Work from the center out. My canvas measured just barely over the 15" x 15". It shld be enough for the finished project. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

How many threads are meant to be used for this cross stitch? 2? 3? all 6?

I use 2 threads for 14 count. I am enjoying this pattern as there are no half stitches or back stitching. However there are lots of colors. It is turning out to be very pretty.

What is the best way to wash this after it is completed? The directions that came I the box were very vague?

according to my experience: treat it like washing hand knitted work. Soak in cold water and a little bit of washing machine soap. Then rinse it with water and squeeze it to let the water drip and then smooth it wide on a towel to get dry. Don't dry by machine nor in the sun.
