Came a bit smelly. Emailed the seller and they told me to wash it. I googled proper care instructions for 100% linen and afterwards it does seem like the plastic smell is gone!One downside is that I did find a 3/4 stitch in a really brown color (I ordered the white, so it really stands out!) on one side, and a couple of pilled snag looking areas. I'm not sure how well it will hold up long term tbh I'm not confident.But the material does feel amazing to the touch. Super soft and 'cool'. The color is an eggshell white, not pure white or a blue white like undershirts, but still a refreshing white to me.UPDATE: I live in California, and it's hot and muggy all the time in the summer or the winter. This was supposed to be an investment to improve our sleep, but... I've tried two different, very pricey goose duvets in this. Both felt amazing, but extremely hot (400 and 600 fill power... I don't know the tog). In ascertaining the source of my newly found sweating problems with materials that are supposed to be breathable, I've realized that the cover itself is very thick, heavy linen. We tried just with the duvet cover only and no filler and I was still sweating at night (I normally don't sweat at all). So, just be aware that there are different weights of linen. This one's on the heavy side, more like canvas slacks than a cheeseclothy muslin curtain, if that helps. Presently trying just the cover with no insert, (which is awful because I like the poof of a duvet), but this will tell me a lot about whether the cover is adding to the problem or not.

AMAZING QUALITY!Seriously, I spent over $700 on pure linen sheets from Europe for my master bedroom and these feel like better quality for a fraction of the cost. Makes me feel sick for spending so much! I paired the pure linen/natural linen duvet cover with the same color Dapu king sheet set because something about a bed that is all one color is so cozy and inviting. The zipper closure is amazing as buttons always come undone and cause the fabric to separate between them, exposing the duvet beneath. There is not four but EIGHT ties inside to keep the duvet in place, something my overpriced linens doesn't even have. I am obsessed with these and will definitely purchase again!

Can’t be sure if the product uses French linen as it is not stated on the product label as, “European Linen.” It’s possible the linen did come from France but the final product is made in China, hence the low price.I’m sure the zipper used on this product is not the YKK brand as described in the description because the brand stamp is not located anywhere on the zipper parts themselves.Other than that, what this linen duvet cover does have is good value.

I rarely write reviews but I felt I had to. This duvet is gorgeous. Yes, it’s a bit wrinkly—- it’s linen. It’s a nice weight. I don’t find it course or scratchy at all. No it’s not the same texture as jersey knit or 100% cotton, but it’s also a much longer lasting fabric.I washed it before putting it on, on delicate cycle and dried on low heat. It didn’t shrink. Also... it has 8 ties!!! All my other duvet covers only have 4, and the insert seems to slide around. This one has 8!This is a great duvet at a fraction of the cost of other places. I’ll return after some time If I change my mind, but so far I think this duvet is gorgeous.

I love this duvet cover. It’s a great price and the quality is beautiful. My other beds have Expensive bedding from “the barn” And this compares very nicely with it. Highly recommend!

I searched for weeks for a new linen duvet and there are so many out there, but honestly my budget for this item was "need one as inexpensive as possible without looking cheap". It's a beautiful duvet cover! Greatly appreciate the zipper, the interior ties and it's quite nice. We are even using the included pillowcase as our sleep on pillows. So pleased with this purchase!

I ordered the king size duvet and sheet set a couple of months ago in the natural linen color and loved it so much that I just ordered the duvet and sheet set in the off-white color, as well. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED. The off-white set is NOTHING like the natural linen set that I received. The material is thin and cheap and doesn’t even feel like linen. Perhaps they sent me the linen cotton blend in error? The look and feel is completely different than my other duvet and sheet set.In addition, the off-white color is not even close to what they show online. It is almost yellow. And on top of all that, the packaging had dirt/mud all over it. I’m sure that part was from Amazon’s warehouse, but just added to the overall disappointment.In the past, I’ve emailed Dapu with positive feedback and those time I’ve received a response back from them right away. This time, I emailed them with my complaint and they have not responded. I am extremely disappointed, especially since I had raved about them in the past. I will update this review if I hear back from them.

I love linen and this linen duvet is great! Exactly what I wanted. It's the perfect shade of off-white, so it creates a soft contrast from pure white and helped me create a coastal feel in my bedroom. My bed is a queen but since it's taller than normal, I bought the King size so it would hang over the sides and cover the bed frame. The down insert is a lightweight one (perfect for me) which is why it's not as puffy as the one pictured on the website.The corners of the insert tied easily to the inside corners of the duvet and made it very easy to put both together. Love it!

I was very skeptical when ordering this set, but it is GREAT. The ties inside to hold the duvet in place are absolutely fantastic. The linen itself is fairly thin - you wouldn't want to put this on a dark or even lightly patterned duvet - but still a great deal for the cost. It is extremely soft. Washed it on cold and dried on low heat, no visible shrinkage. The zipper is definitely not YKK as advertised, but seems okay. The craftsmanship is great - all the seams are sealed and straight and there's no raw edges anywhere. This set will never be smooth and unwrinkled because it is made of linen and that is the nature of the material. The final thing I will mention is the ivory colour is very, very ivory. If you put this up against stark white it will look very yellow. I am posting a pic of a white shirt on the ivory duvet so folks can see what I mean. Not a pro or a con, just a note.

This thing sheds! I'm not sure if this is normal for stone washed flax but the amount of fluff this gives off is pretty ridiculous, you could be sweeping your bedroom floor daily and god know what i'm breathing in while I sleep! Maybe somebody can inform me if this is normal for this kind of material but wow. Just to note that i've washed this thing at least 10 times in the last 4 months i've had it.

Washed the cover when it arrived, ironed it (best to search how to do this as linen is hard to iron properly), and set it up on my bed. It did feel a bit scratchy but it was very comfortable. Flipped it over in about a week and could tell that the side I was sleeping on was smoother. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase and find I sleep much better. If you get this, be ready for creased sheets and pillow cases, but as one person said, embrace the creases its just what they are... and enjoy the comfort.

I love it. It’s the exact colour I wanted, not white, linen ivory, stunning. Yes it does “shed” a bit but I vacuum once a week anyhow. I washed it gentle cycle, low tumble dry and ironed on low heat for the wrinkles. It is a little wrinkly but I expected that and it’s so soft and lovely. It’s perfect and exactly what I wanted.
