If you planning to use this device to clean some mold or any other reason rather than to remove smell then you need to stop using the Ozone generator and use it as an air purifier.If you are planning to order this Odor Removal and Ozone Generator you may need to read this review carefully. To start with the item has been delivered really fast the next day when I placed the order and arrived well packed without any issues, however, the box reveals what is inside so if you are welling something else for any reason you need to request or contact the seller in advance. Health and Safety: I gave this item 5* and the item follows health and safety standards, however, you need to be super careful when running this device for a limited short or long time and also to understand when and how. The timer on the front of the device referees to the time you want the device to run for (60 minutes for example means the device will work for an hour and then stop automatically. How about if you want to run the device for unlimited time and you would like to choose when to turn it off: This is the HOLD option, you run the device until you stop it. To answer the question of when and how: for health and safety, I would not recommend running this device while people especially children and pets are in the location in your place. This device takes the air completely and generates a high level of Ozone and although it does the job really well by taking all the smell from the place, it leaves the place air-free so you need to make sure you have quick access to open the door and windows for air fresh and air ventilation. If your room or the place you use the device for has no windows then you need to follow extra steps for safety. If you do not have an EU to the UK plug adapter then you need to prepare one in advance as this one, unfortunately, comes with a standard EU plug!If you want to use this device for your car then you may need an extended cable to reach the car and follow the same steps as above.Again does this device good for the job: Yes is the answer Unlike another similar device, I have used this device to run with more noise hence 4*. First things first, please use this product with caution as it can be extremely dangerous to humans and animals with its ozone production!!!Upon unboxing, I noticed that the plug was an EU one instead of a UK one. If selling in the UK market, it would have made more sense to at least include an adapter or an alternative power cable that is compatible with UK power sockets.To give this a try, I made use of a travel adapter to plug the EU power plug into.The reason I put the warning at the top of this review is that this takes breathable oxygen out of the environment and converts it into ozone.The time of using the ozone generator depends on the size of the room. This is built for commercial use but in a domestic use, it wouldn't need to run for too long. A normal sized room in a house will only need between 5-10 minutes to get rid of any smells.One of my properties that I rent out was vacant at the time of receiving this so I decided to take this over there to get rid of all the unpleasant smells to make it smell nice and fresh.In a domestic setting, the best way to use this is to leave the windows open slightly, then use the timer function on the ozone generator for about 10 minutes (or longer if it's a particularly bad smell).After 10 minutes, the ozone generator will turn off automatically but it won't be safe straight away - it will be best to wait for a couple of hours to give time for enough breathable oxygen to re-enter the room (depending on concentration of Ozone - it differs with different generators).There will be a smell of ozone after using this but in a room with open windows, this can be aired out within a couple of hours.This is for commercial use, I wouldn't really recommend using in a domestic setting as it causes great inconvenience and can be extremely dangerous if not used with caution.I would instead recommend a HEPA air purifier which will be safe to use in homes.
