Melissa & Doug Sunny Patch Froggy Classic Rubber Kickball

My 10 month old adores this ball. The eyes are big and she loves looking at the face. It seems soft and durable. We've had it a few weeks and it's still inflated.There are instructions on the bottom (where you would fill it) on how much to fill, which is nice for when that time comes. Over all this is a great purchase. The only down side was when we got it the smell was pretty powerful. It reminded me and my husband of childhood and tires. I wiped it down with soap and water and re-wiped it with a diaper wipe and that really helped out and now we don't notice any strong smells anymore which is good! There really wasn't any way to get around that smell though, that's just what kickball's smell like!

I purchased two of these as a Christmas gifts this year. Both toddlers were delighted and have really enjoyed their adorable froggy balls. They will be easy to reinflate if they ever need air and the materials are thick and sturdy. I am very happy with the purchase.

Great quality playground ball that has been in use for a couple of months now. I give the ball a quick wipe/hose-down after being outdoors and store out of the sun. No issues with ball losing air or becoming brittle. Colors are bright and cheerful, and have not faded. No cracking either. Daughter loves it!

This was a gift for my 2 1/2 year old grandson. He loves to run around the yard with it ~ it's a nice size even for small hands. The frog face makes it even better. We've taken it on wagon rides around the neighborhood!

Great rubber kickball for kids! Durable enough for rough kid play & kickball! Would recommend.

In my first review of this I gave the ball one star and said, "It lasted three months before the material began to brake down and holes formed in it. I'd give it two stars if it were spherical, but it wasn't even close. I makes a nice mask when it's done as a ball though!"A rep from Melissa and Doug then contacted me via the comments and replaced the defective ball. Since I have two balls to review from and each are at the opposite end of the rating spectrum, I'll give it the average of three stars, plus one for good customer service.

This ball is entirely too cute! It is a sturdy "red playground" rubber ball that makes you smile just to look at it. Our 16 month old grandson loves it and currently carries and kicks it, but when he is older it has great "bounce" for kickball, 4 square, etc. Just our way of keeping the battery-less, non-computer "old fashioned" way of playing alive.

Who doesn't love that sound it makes when you connect with a kick ball? This one is great and the kids love it. This is the second one we have purchased. The first one we simply wore out over 4 years.

A great ball for outdoor play. Very durable, bounces well too

My child is still a little too young for this ball but at one and a half years old she is making an effort to pick up this ball and bounce it. The size is good and ball seems good quality. Arrived in packaging and ball was slightly deflated but not unusable. Just needs a little more air. Overall I am happy with my purchase.
