I didn't write it correctly. Can you watch a 2D movie on an active 3D TV by changing the 2D format into 3D by using this 3D DVD player or a 3D TV?

A 3D blu ray player and a 3D tv will play regular blu rays, but they are 2d when shown. They do not convert the discs to 3D

How do i set up the 3d feature on this to work with my tv?

There is nothing to set up. Just put in a 3D disc and it should play as long as you have a 3D TV or Front Projector. Front Projectors are still being manufactured with 3D capability by the way.
