Most importantly, make sure whatever data software you plan to use works with the web browser you use. In my case I tried using Firefox web browser with Tidepool software and received 'no USB device found' so I naturally wanted to blame the cable. Tidepool only works with Chrome and Edge. I believe some of the bad cable reviews are from attempts to use the software 'uploader' not compatible with the web browser.I have used this cable with Tidepool and CareLink software.These cables are device specific. The cable for my Bayer meter showed "PC' on my Freestyle Freedom Lite meter indicating it was connected but it would not transmit data. This cable should work with any software designed for use with Freestyle and Freestyle Freedom meters so long as you use the proper web browser.I have also uploaded the data to my computer in Excel file format via the Tidepool app.I hope this review saves you a lot of frustration.

Used this cable with Abbott Freestyle Lite. Cable package says "Works best with TIDEPOOL", so I went to the tidepool.org website and installed the app on a Win 11 PC. (large file, so download time was several minutes) Had to create a user account to use the app.After logging in, the setup options came up to select the glucose monitor from a long list of compatible monitors. Then it asked to connect to the monitor. At that point I plugged in the EZYSYNC cable, and it was immediately recognized, and connected the monitor to the app. Should point out that no drivers were required. The connection was very fast and as easy as could be. I guess the chip in the cable did what it was supposed to do, and enabled the cable connection with no problem whatsoever.Next step was to click on the button to import data from the monitor. That took a few seconds, and worked flawlessly. Tidepool has lots of charts and information about what data were collected. It can generate a report with all data and charts. In my case, it was 6 pages for the 2-week period during which the monitor was used.The EZSYNC package label has a link to a site that has driver software, but that wasn't needed so I didn't browse to the site.If you have multiple monitors that are compatible with Tidepool, then you can select each monitor, and filter data by whatever combination of monitors you want, or each one singly.

Does not work with auto assist for the freestyle lite software. Worked very well with tidepool uploader.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I consider myself tech savvy and I could not get this thing to work. I tried everything read all the reviews and the instructions for this product and still couldn't get it to work. when I finally got to an American website for downloading the software drivers, my antivirus software wouldn't allow it to fully install. Once I figured which app would work, "Glooko", it came with it's own adapter that doesn't require any driver to use my reader on my phone. You will need to buy the cable through the app and it worked with no issues. This product is made in CHANIA and doesn't work. The other reviews that say the same thig are real. The ones that say they got it to work are not.

Morning of 12 June I started trying to get the EZSync cable to work. Did not have much luck. Then an instruction sheet dropped out of the bag. I still could not get the cable to be recognized by Freestyle AutoAssist. I then emailed the company for help. Time was about 12:30 on a Sunday afternoon. Same day 2 pm received reply by Dan from Purenite Tech. He explained the cable would not work with the program I was trying to use and suggested using an alternate program offered by Abbott - FreeStyle copilot. He offered other methods to get around this problem including a full refund. I followed the instructions to start up FreeStyle Copilot. five to ten minutes later I was online with Abbott uploading my data - everything worked. It was 4 pm Sunday afternoon still yet. This was the best tech advice and followup I have ever seen. The problem was operator error. But Dan quickly and graciously solved my problem. Cable works perfectly when used as designed [ 5/5 ] Tech support [ 7/5 ]

Arrived in good condition. It is no compatible with the LibreView website software.

There was no instructions to setup the cable to use with the glucose monitor. This was frustrating because the information regarding the cable said that it was able to work with Abbott Freestyle Lite monitor. I had to call the seller because there was a website on the zip lock bag to go to install a driver. The website was invalid. The seller directed me to a website to download software that had me install information which had me sign up for giving my personal information about my glucose readings. Not happy with that.

Looks to be fine just having issues with software. Cable seems fine to me. Thanks to all!!
