How is this doorbell secured to prevent being stolen? i've noticed ring will replace theirs if stolen, is this the same with eufy? thank you.

Hi I have screwed the bracket that holds the doorbell to the wall. To release the doorbell from the bracket you have to use a special pin (to be honest it’s the same tool as supplied with an apple phone to release the sim holder). I do not believe that Eufy replace if stolen like ring

Can the doorbell be hard wired

If you have space in the door frame (ideally hollow) you can permanently power the doorbell. Get a longer usb charging lead, feed it through the door frame and then through the holder and plug it into the doorbell. The holder will need a little surgery to open up the top screw hole to allow the plug to enter at the correct location. The small red charging led will stay lit but it is not noticeable.

How do you view what’s saved on the SD card?

1. You can view the videos directly through the app that comes with the video doorbell. On the bottom bar if you tap on "Events" you can see all the videos recorded. We usually delete most of them straight away to save space on the card. 2. Another option is to view the videos on your computer. You'll need a micro SD adapter, but I think it comes with the SD card. The adapter looks like a "normal" SD card. You only need to insert the micro SD in the adapter, then insert the adapter in your computer and Bob is your uncle!

Could someone tell me the distance between the screw holes on the mounting plate? In a rented property and can only screw into the existing holes

Use one fixing and use a good industrial type double sided sticky tape.
