THE PERFECT CHAISE!!!
This suspension lounge chair / cot combination is of excellent quality. Fabric is extremely durable and "taut" (meaning there is no sagging (and a very nice light pearl grey with shiny black frame (actually pretty classy looking!) And it has a lot of support...Yes, it is slippery, so don't recommend placing it in the lounge position with the lower leg collapsed down to the surface of your deck or lawn, because you WILL SLIDE DOWN!! But I have never liked that position in any chair of this style, so that is of no concern to me. The bungee suspension system is really comfortable. It is a double-strung bungee cord throughout. It is a nice solid construction. Tubing is entirely smooth when it has been opened up to whatever position you want (i.e., there aren't those sharp edges often found at the "ratchet-type" joints on cheaper models). Just a smooth covered connection, so when you rest your arms/hands beside you, they lie over a nice smooth surface. I found it to be nice and wide, so arms aren't necessary, since there is ample room on each side of your body. I am 5'5", 130 lbs, and length and support are excellent. The 3 leg parts should be placed in their extreme "open" position first, then you can use one foot to press down the middle portion to the floor, and while holding with your foot, put the back into the adjustment you prefer. Yes, this may sound a bit cumbersome, but once you do it a couple times, it's a snap. Also, just to mention, when the back is in an angled "lounging" position (not perfectly flat), you will notice that when you lean back, it moves back another very slight amount as the mechanism slides completely to the bottom of the position you put it in. It won't come apart, it just moves a little. Not a bother at all. Just something you might not expect. I moved it manually as I watched this, and it's the way it is constructed. However, it works perfectly. I LOVE THIS CHAISE! Don't hesitate to purchase it, if none of these types of things will bother you.

Very good
This review is based upon what this product is, not what it isn't. What it is: a folding cot with a back section that can be elevated. What it isn't: a lounge chair, a beach chair. It is well made and very sturdy. The mechanism for elevating the back section is not the easiest thing to deal with but once it is locked in position, it stays there. The fabric seems to be a fairly tough polyester canvas which is comfortable to lie upon. When lying down, it has a springy, mattress-like feel, due to the suspension system, which also seems quite durable. Although the product photo shows it in a lounge chair position, I have found it impossible to do this - the middle legs fold up as soon as I sit down. Maybe it would work for a petite lady or child.Although it is fairly compact when folded, I think this is too heavy and bulky to carry to the beach or park. It is ideal for situations where it will be set up and then left alone for awhile - house guests, sleepovers, on the patio, in a hunting cabin, RV camping, etc. It's been left out in the rain a few times and shows no sign of rust or deterioration. The fabric dries quickly.People over 5 feet 11 inches tall will probably find this too short for comfortable sleeping.

My First Cot, purchased it for reading and sunbathing
It is as described. Take it out of the box and set it up. At first it was a little stiff and every time I would try to adjust the back, the center would fold up on me. I finally got it to lay straight and left it in the sun for two days. That loosened it up enough so that it stopped folding up on me. I purchased it to use as a lounge chair in my back yard for reading and sunbathingThe cot is longer than I expected and a little heavy.. It has plenty of room for me and the canvass (or whatever the material is) is sturdy and comfortable. The bungee cording holding it to the frame appears to be strong and well threaded. The foot end can be folded down. The back has a one-piece bar that slides into the opening on each side of and sets sturdily into the "leg" at the head end. The settings on it are at comfortable angles. I have never had a cot before so I am not sure how to describe it. However, it stays in place and doesn't fall out of the position you put it in. You do have to get up and go to the back to adjust it, so it involves an extra step compared to the old vinyl strapped sun lounge chair.that simply folded forward and clicked into a gear on each side of the seat. The material easily sheds sand by tipping the chair over. It is comfortable and sturdy enough that it would be a good cot for a child or an averaged width adult with the addition of a sleeping bag, foam cushion or camp mattress. It is very stable and doesn't feel like it would top over easily, but it's not wide enough for a sleeper who turns over a lot.I really like it and besides solving my problem of finding a lounge chair to read in outside, it will come in handy for a bed for my grandchild. The reason for 4 stars is there were no directions on how to operate it, clean it, or maintain it; and it is heavy. Since I have never owned a cot before I have no way to compare it to other products but I believe it will last a long time.

Hot to trot cot.
I took in some kids who needed a home and I have an exceptionally small house. Room is a major issue. At first we thought cots, the basic GI kind until I saw these and their counterpart made by Coleman as well (poor reviews made us choose these) and glad we bought them. The adjustment is a bit wonky and wouldnt recommend for someone who is fijity but the quality of the canvas and metal are perfect for small adults and children. They are white so they will stain if you spill but the fact that they are comfortable to use as a daily use bed and can also be used outside make them a must purchase for campers and people who have lots of company and sleeping on the floor is a concern. They fold nicely and have straps to keep them folded and are light enough to have moved by anyone. I hope Coleman make more of these for larger adults as my 6'2 260 frame inst meant for it as a daily use.
