Paracord Rope Dog Leash With Lock and Swivel Carabiner - Dogorado Handmade Dog Leads - The Pack Leader Blue 4ft

This is a great leash. Very strong. More strength than we need for our dog, who doesn't really pull, but we wanted a carabiner clip. The spring in the clip broke after a couple of weeks but the seller was quick to replace it free of charge. Our other dog chewed the heck out of it. Kind of bummed about that because it was brand new and now it doesn't look very nice, but that's what our dog does. Several strands were broken. Even with those broken, it's still plenty strong. (We used a lighter to burn the strands back together but have yet to perfect the technique.)

I love the swivel on these leashes. I walk 3 dogs at a time and am constantly untwisting the leashes. With the swivel, I can just twist and for the most part, they straighten out. The down side on the leashes are two things: the caribiner is not the best quality, sometimes they don't snap correctly, etc. Secondly, I like the braided leash, but the knot at the end is rather large and like I said, with three of them, it is a lot. I think this large knot also makes the leash a little shorter than a regular leash. I really love the concept of this leash, just needs a few tweeks to make it awesome.

This leash is absolutely amazing; however, the clip broke within 24 hours when my dog pulled. The price is totally worth the cord part of the leash and I'm going to REI to buy a climbing grade clip that might be able to withstand my 63 pound and super strong dog. Definitely would recommend the leash, but also would recommend a stronger clip for larger dogs.

Great looking leash but sometimes the clip comes undone and my dog get loose when my dog pulls hard enough.... Not sure if that's a defect?

Love this leash! I've tried soooo many, but this one is a keeper!! I'm a dog walker by profession, so a leash is my most important tool. This one feels great to hold... very light and flexible, the knot below the hand loop is perfect to grip, and the slight stretch is nice for you and your dog. And the best features... it's SAFE and STRONG. The braided paracord is soft, flexible, and light, yet unmatched for strength, and the locking caribiner on a swivel means no worries about breaking or releasing clasps. My own dog is a Pitbull, so safety and strength, like when he sees a squirrel and wants to chase, are a necessity. Now this leash is best suited for medium to large/giant breeds, as the caribiner is big, and probably overkill for a small dog.... although it could easily be swapped out with a smaller locking caribiner. At first I thought the price was high for a simple leash, but now that I've used it, it's absolutely worth it, and I'll be ordering a few spares for work, and already plan to give one to a friend as a gift for her dog. I couldn't be happier with this leash!!!

Great leash, very strong and lightweight, and I love the locking carabiner. I fully expect this leash to last the rest of my dogs life (she's 3 currently, so hopefully that's a lot of years). I chose this leash because it has a locking carabiner on a swivel, and the leash us about 6' long. My dog somehow detached the clip on her previous leash from her collar while on a walk, so the locking carabiner was really important. Paired with a harness, she ain't breaking loose again!

I love that this leash is made of para-cord and will hopefully use it to hike with my dog in the future. The only complaint i have is that the clip doesn't seem very strong. It could easily be switched out though.I recieved this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.

Very unusual leash. I bought this while searching for a different kind of leash. I love the idea of this. It is pretty comfortable, even when your dog pulls. And it's cool that it is made out of such strong rope. I like it a lot.
