Reaction times are way down
I researched all currently available monitors and TVs using rtings dot com. I'm quite pleased with the monitor thus far. No dead pixels. Easy and intuitive menu. It's a graphical powerhouse at a fairly modest price.Pros:When it first arrived I compared it to my prior LG 60 Hz LCD TV using the human benchmark website. No other gear was changed so it reflects just the monitor. With the 60 Hz TV I was getting 230 ms average and 200 ms fastest reaction times to click my mouse after the human benchmark website turned from red to green. When I switched to this new monitor I got an average reaction time of 165 ms and my fastest reaction time was 97 ms. These tests were both done with my Logitech G203 gaming mouse set to 1000 Hz polling rate. So my average reaction time went down by a whopping 30% and my fastest reaction time decreased by over 50%. My new averages are better than 90% of human benchmark users and I'm not even a competitive gamer.Other than above, resolution is quite good for the screen size, the screen size is perfect for my 3' deep desk, the aesthetics are very nice, it is a very nice looking monitor with a good stand and decent cable management.Using my old LG TV in World of Tanks, I could see that my trusty EVGA Geforce 1070 GPU was giving me around 320 +/- 50 frames per second typically at low or minimum graphics settings, which I always use to reduce unnecessary clutter, and even though the TV was incapable of displaying most of the frames being output, getting a 360 Hz monitor made sense to me. Plus it future proofs my setup for the foreseeable future.G-Sync works seamlessly with my GPU.Cons:Text clarity isn't as perfect as say an iMac due to iMac screens having double the pixel density of other brands, but for my purposes the text clarity is totally functional and I don't even notice it.Price is a little higher than some budget gaming monitors but this is a significantly better monitor, in my view, so worth the money for a better gaming and all around monitor.Contrast ratio is a weakness of IPS monitors in general but this model has among the highest contrast ratios of IPS monitors, which was another factor that sold me on it. If you want really good contrast you need to look at other types of panels.FYI: I needed to update my old gpu driver before this monitor would work in my system, due to my gpu's age I guess, which triggered some distress initially since I mistakenly thought the monitor was dead out of the box. I don't fault the monitor for this since it works flawlessly after updating the gpu driver. resolving this required access to a second display that my gpu driver already supported.

Alienware Gaming Monitor: Crystal-clear display and lightning-fast response
I recently purchased an Alienware Gaming Monitor and have been blown away by its performance. This monitor is the ultimate tool for any serious gamer, and has made a significant difference in my gaming experience. The first thing that impressed me about this monitor is its display. It has a fast refresh rate and a high resolution, which ensures that images are sharp and clear. This is especially important for fast-paced games, where every frame counts.Additionally, the monitor has excellent color accuracy and contrast. This allows me to see details in dark areas of the game, and makes the overall experience more immersive. I have noticed a significant improvement in my ability to spot enemies and track moving objects. The monitor is also extremely responsive, with minimal input lag. This means that my actions are registered almost instantly, which is crucial for competitive gaming. I have not experienced any delay or lag, which has allowed me to perform at my best.Overall, I am extremely impressed with the Alienware Gaming Monitor and would highly recommend it to others. It is the ultimate tool for any serious gamer, and is sure to enhance your gaming experience.

Delivers top-tier performance without pulling any punches where it counts
Got this monitor at $379 when it was 39% off, quite a steal. Coming from a 2012, TN 144 Hz DVI-D based display, this upgrade was more than I could ever imagine. Even on the most extreme overdrive sitting, there is no perceptible inverse ghosting or motion blur, even at lower refresh rates.Pros:+ good out of the box color reproduction + 10-bit color profiles+ comes with decent connection cables+ high refresh rate with impeccable motion clarity+ native G-Sync Module provides no tearing, even at the lowest frame rates+ has BFI (Black Frame Insertion) with a wide range, but at the cost of half of the monitor's brightness and only works at 240HzCons:- Monitor OSD is very unintuitive, some options seem superfluous and some settings don't stick after power cycling- stand is very large and will not fit on some smaller desks- using the built-in Nvidia reflex latency analyzer can put the monitor into a boot loop sometimes- horrible HDR 400 implementation, makes everything look washed out- despite having two USB ports, there is no KVM switch for each input as seen in other Gigabyte gaming monitors

Solid performance, only a few issues.
Overall, very satisfied with this display. It has a bit more light bleed in the corners than my previous display, but it's only noticeable with a pure black image. I actually tried out the Asus and LG 240hz monitors, but prefer this one. HDR10 is a noticeable improvement from the HDR400 of the other displays. My only real gripe with this thing is that HDR mode automatically enables automatic screen brightness adjustment (you can't turn this off). 80% of the time, this isn't an issue. It is ALWAYS a problem with subtitles. And i've noticed it causes issues with certain events (like opening a web browser within a game to make a purchase, looking at you fortnite). With all that being said, i'd probably buy it again.
