I am a massage therapist who has to transport sheets to launder to an from work both location requiring going up and down steps. For the most part I really like the Trolley Dolly, it goes up stairs like a champ. Going downstairs takes a bit more care if there is any weight to what is in the cart bag since the height of the handle necessitates leaning forward which can pull you off balance if your not prepared for it.Even though the handle does fold down it is prevented from doing so when the bag is attached (due to the bag strap that wraps around it) which makes the cart too tall to stand upright in my SUV. Laying the cart down with the bag full is not a great option depending on the bags contents (like folded Laundry) and the only way to release the strap if to lift the loaded bad over the top of the handle to get it in the vehicle and again to re-secure the strap after taking it out of the vehicle. I am going to cut the solid strap and add Velcro strips to make this possible.The cart is very versatile I have used it to move boxes of books, clothing, etc up and down stairs using the cart without the bag. The cart move very nicely forward and backward. It does not change direction or curve well

Pros: Durable frame and wheels, convenient, easy to use, great for people (like me) with health issues who can't carry much and can't use a backpack, no need for grocery bags, holds a lot.Cons: Can be loud when going up steps in a stairwell, confuses some grocery baggers, the drawstring area of the bag breaks down after about a year.I bought a Trolley Dolly Stair Climber, Black Grocery Foldable Cart on Amazon in September 2017. Today is February 5, 2019. My family has used the trolley at least three times a week, every week, in that time. We live near a grocery store and use it to carry groceries home and up the stairs to our second-floor apartment. It's worked wonderfully well for that purpose, and I've had many people stop and ask where I got the Trolley Dolly, as they wanted one, too.I've used the Trolley Dolly to carry large boxes of cat food and cat litter, as well as heavy loads of canned foods, bottled juices and cartons of milk, in all weather - rain, snow, summer heat, day and night. It travels well over pavement, curbs, and up stairs. I had surgery last summer and am not in good physical condition, so sometimes I use the elevator when the load is heavy, but my teenage daughters have no problem taking a full Trolley Dolly up the stairs.I am 5' 9" and the Trolley Dolly handle is high and comfortable for me. My husband is 6' 1" and he feels the handle is a bit low, but it's still comfortable for him to use, even with his back problems.The Trolley Dolly will hold several grocery bags worth of items, if packed well, though of course I don't actually use grocery bags any longer, the cashiers and baggers just put everything directly into the trolley. But I think it's worth mentioning that the trolley confuses a lot of grocery store employees. I've had baggers try to fill it and then put it into my grocery cart, and I have to explain that I have health issues and can't lift the full Trolley Dolly out of a grocery cart, so please don't put it in there. I've also had to ask could they please put the heavy things in the bottom and the light things on top, not the milk on top of the potato chips (this should be a no-brainer but...!). Of course if you're packing it yourself it's not a problem but my local stores have baggers who insist on doing it for me. I think the cashiers get timed or something, so they want to rush you out asap.While shopping, I slide the top of the Trolley Dolly in between the handle you'd hold to push the grocery cart and the seat where you'd put a small child. Then I rest the wheels of the Trolley Dolly on the underneath shelf of the grocery cart (that area below the main basket, where you'd put the big bag of dog food or giant pack of TP, right?). The Trolley Dolly fits there perfectly, without taking up any grocery cart space at all, so it's not in my way while shopping. I suppose you could even fold it up and lay it in that underneath area, but I'm not able to bend down and put it there or pull it back out, so I don't do that.All of the photos were taken today, so this is the condition of my Trolley Dolly after about 70 weeks / 16 months of regular use. The frame, handle and wheels are all still in great shape, and the exterior of the bag looks good. It's the interior of the bag, particularly around the drawstring, where it breaks down. I couldn't find any on Amazon, but there are replacement bags available on the company's website.

Definitely not worth $92 but if you can get it “used” for under $40 it’s ok. It’ll work for pulling groceries up stairs… maybe someone older who can’t lift ten bags at once. Or maybe several light items up indoor stairs. Not very durable but folds up nicely and may come in handy now and then.

Great for carry your items up stairs

I'm moving MYSELF, and from a massive house, to a tiny one I'm sharing. Most of my stuff will be in the basement, or my bedroom, which is up a straight, narrow flight of stairs. Standard stair risers (height) are 8", and these are probably 9", with carpet and padding. This trolly does fine on them.I have numerous issues that make stairs difficult, so lifting items up, or down, is a real challenge. I have osteoarthritis, need knee surgery, have collapsed lower lumbar, and I've had rotator cuff surgery on one shoulder, with the other being beyond repair, to name a few. So, the carrying of books, clothes, sewing studio stuff up, and paints, tools and such down, is daunting, to say the least.I have friends who will help, but being able to move smaller things is helping me not use up my help list, for big items, like furniture! Also, for groceries, this will be fantastic.Putting it together was a bit of a challenge, probably due to the late hour I tried! I pulled a pin out, when putting the wheels on, but it snapped back. Pro tip: Put the longer smooth side of the wheels pin in first...you'll see what I mean when you open up the package.I did assemble it incorrectly, the first time, but it was easy enough to reassemble. I got a "used" one, which may be why there were no instructions, but I think your average bear can do it, eventually!The bar is far too low for the stairs, I found. But, the bag has a long, adjustable strap, which I used to haul a pretty heavy load up, and used my other hand on the rail. If I feel there are no other things to fix in the world, I might drill holes and bolt in a longer handle...but I doubt it.As I paid $20 less, because it was used, I absolutely think it was worth any penny. If I'd paid full price, I'd still say to buy it!
