i was looking for cooking chopsticks and liked the idea of that flared spoon like tip. unfortunately when i first inspected these i noticed the metal rod stops in the handle and does not reinforce the spoon part of the stick. this may be good if you are handling light weight and delicate items from a distance, but this design disqualifies it from the heavier item leveraged use i had in mind. amazon and the seller allowed the return and full credit, but i thought i should post this first impression so others looking for a tip metal reinforced cooking chopstick will not be similarly disappointed after purchase. before i returned these i discovered they fit together perfectly while using  PRO CHOPS Cheater Chopstick Hinges Connector  a useful add on for those not already adroit at chopstick handling.

Purchased this pair on March used a couple of times a month. Less than 10 times total. Lately, I noticed a silicone got melted showing metal part which is not suppse to be happened. DISAPPOINTED!!

I purchased the silicone long chopsticks Not to use as chopsticks, but to use to retrieve tea bags from my glass tea pot without the risk of breaking the glass. So far so good.
