Ammonium Sulfate is a commodity product available from many retailers in various quantities. I find the 50 pound bags to be ideal = enough to treat a non-trivial area yet not quite too heavy to maneuver. Advice: use a drop spreader, not a broadcast spreader. The latter puts too much dust into the air and you really don't want to inhale much of it ... it leaves a very sour taste (like battery acid.) Delivery was very fast and the price could not be matched by anyone locally, even with delivery. I use this to treat chlorosis in my pin oak and river birch on limestone bedrock.

I use it to kill tree roots after cutting a tree down so it won’t keep shooting off the root system. Drill holes in big roots and fill with amonium sulfate. Helps establish mushrooms later to eat the roots

Came well packaged, dry, no clumps. Spread easily as granules and easily watered in by the rain.
