Exactly What I Was Looking For, First Quality!! !
This is a shank for rotary tool attachments that do not include one. I recently ordered a diamond encrusted hole-cutting tool for making pipe holes in concrete blocks, d-boxes, and the like. But it lacks a shank. I also ordered a very stiff-bristled hard-duty brush, for removing corrosion from drain openings in my lavatories and a few other places. It also needs a shank. Both tools take a 11/32 shank, and both are shown in the photos. I went to all four stores in my county that sell hardware. Plenty of attachments that take the same 11/32 shank. But not one shank! I had wanted to use both of these tools since purchasing them, but realized Amazon was the only avenue for doing so. So I bought the shank. Took a few days to get here, but I'm back in business. This shank is a high-quality, precision item, no sloppy zinc plating or artless welds. It sits well when tightened, and fits in my small rechargeable drills, Porter Cable, Makita and Ryobi. But I will be using it in my Dewalt hammer drill to tackle the harder jobs. I may even be able to get the embarrassing mineral ring off my guest loo; one never knows when Cousin Chuck and Camilla are going to pop by for dinner, and I can't exactly tell the King that the loo is out of order, now, can I? It just isn't done.--I am quite pleased with this item, enabling me to use two new tools and several old ones. It is of better quality than expected. If you need one, you will not be disappointed with the quality, so go ahead and buy it.

Just what I needed!
I had inadvertently purchased some accessories for my angle grinder that had a 14mm thread instead of the 5/8-11 thread that I needed. I found out that adapters were available that would make my mistake work for me. So, instead of returning the wrong size items, this solved my problem and provided me with the additional flexibility to buy accessories in either thread size. This adapter is well made, and with its central "through hole," I can even use it with my wet grinder. It is a quality item that I highly recommend!

Bath tub grab bar install project
Summary: Adding a few grab bars to dad's shower. I used a lot of products for this project, so including all related products in this review.Recommendation:1) When mounting grab bars, it's always easier if you can find the stud to attach to. In this vertical install, I decided to use a stud and Wing-Its anchors; partially because I wasn't sure I could hit both, and didn't want to put two fasteners vertically (on either the right or left only), but that would also position the bar in the shower a little too far in (towards the shower control).2) The WingIts requires a 3/4" hole through the mounting material. For tile, this can be especially challenging. I used the SHDIATOOL diamond 3/4" bit, with the DRILLAX adapter to get through the tile, and then used the 3/4" BOSCH bit to finish through the dry wall. Also used the BOSCH bits for the other small hole. Having the right tool for the job is the difference between project completion, and a messy, disaster.Related Products:Moen R8924P Home Care 24-Inch Concealed Screw Bath Safety Bathroom Grab Bar, Peened ~ $30Pros: Moen name, includes stainless screws.Cons: None. Conclusion: 5-starshttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EI0TJ4Structural Grab Bar WingIts, PK2 ~ $14Pros: Heavy duty, highly rated.Cons: Cost ($7/anchor).Conclusion: 4-stars (cost)https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004CCRJWOSHDIATOOL Diamond Core Drill Bits 3/4 Inch ~ $13Pros: Right tool for the job, looked brand new after drilling two holes (with proper technique, including cool water).Cons: None. Conclusion: 5-starshttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07213KCN9Drilax Core Drill Bit Arbor Adapter ~ $15Pros: Allows SHDIATOOL bit to be used with drill (instead of angle grinder).Cons: Cost (a little expensive). Conclusion: 4-stars (cost)https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0737H7CMXBOSCH GT3000 Carbide Hammer Drill Bit Set ~ $25Pros: Cuts great; carrying case.Cons: None. Conclusion: 5-starshttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GNC8RS

Works well
It works very well and has some heft to it. So, it doesn't feel like it will break easily. Fit right in my drill.
