Definitely will NOT fit P238
This is a well crafted product. I was looking for an ankle holster to wear inside the top of a western boot. If you plan on wearing it on your ankle it will work fine but in my case I would need the optional 'Calf Strap' and 'Boot Extender' since I planned on wearing it with boots. As others have said the SIG P238 definitely will not fit, it will only slide 3/4 of the way into the holster (even with the plastic bag trick mentioned earlier.I bought my P238 to replace a KelTec P3AT which I haven't gotten rid of yet. The Keltec fits like a glove and I would keep the holster if I planned on keeping the KelTec. I was very impressed with the quality of the holster (Reason FOR 3 Stars) but not with the fit for my P238. I will be returning it.I ended up ordering the UTG Concealed Ankle Holster. At first I didn't think it would work but I discovered if you only place the gun side of the holster strap inside the top right side of the boot but let the left side go over the boot pull strap on the left side it works very well. If you try to use the entire holster strap in the boot it makes the boot top flair out too much.

From Galco," It simply isn't a "problem" except with aesthetics "
I bought this holster for my Sig Sauer P238. I made the assumption that a holster designed for my exact model pistol would fit like it was designed for my exact pistol. However this was far from true. When the holster first arrived I noticed it was extremely tight. I called Galco, and they informed me that I should wrap a plastic bag around my gun, then push it into the holster, leave it that way for half an hour and then it would fit correctly. Well I did exactly as instructed. While this did help with inserting the gun into the holster it became clear to me fairly early on that this holster was not shaped correctly for the Sig P238. Specifically, the back strap which is designed to hold the pistol securely is misshaped and at the wrong angle. When snapped shut it bulges out of shape. It makes no difference weather the hammer is cocked or decocked. It simply does not ever lay correctly.I called Galco and asked them about this issue, thinking perhaps I had gotten a defective one. The phone was answered by a Customer Service Supervisor named Bill King. Mr. King explained to me that he knew they did not fit correctly, but it was not a safety issue and therefore not a concern to Galco. Indeed, Mr.King went on to say he knew all about the problem, and even as we spoke, sitting on his desk was the exact same holster. He explained that another costumer had returned it because of the problem I had mentioned. Not understanding why he was not concerned that his product was defective, I decided to email the company to let them know about this problem. After all, when one buys a custom fit holster isn't fit and finish important? Later that day Mark Barham, another Customer Service Supervisor replied to my email, the title of this post is a direct quote from that email. Apparently, the only concern that Galco has regarding their holsters is safety, fit and finish are not considered important. My suggestion, if you want a holster that correctly fits your Sig P238, keep looking.

Not for Sig P938!!!!
Ughhh.... I originally purchased the DeSantis Apache for my Sig P938 and had to return it because the firearm wouldn't fit fully in the saddle (my P938 is without laser). The Galco is slightly better made than the Desantis, but unfortunately is too "elasticky" around the velcro ankle wrap to secure the same tight fit as the DeSantis. However, the Galco is more comfortable. This ankle holster will not fit Sig Sauer P938. Maybe the Sig 238 will, I don't know. Definitely not the P938. Sending back to hopefully find a decent ankle holster for the P938 one of these days. I can't find anything decent currently. Both the DeSantis Apache and this are out for the Sig P938. Wish I would have known this before. The search for the holy P938 grail goes onl

Works well with yoga pants!
I have used this holster for about a year and it is still my favorite. I am a mom with two young kids that still like to be carried. An ISW just doesn't work well for me at this time in my life. I carry a 938 and this conceals well. I wear yoga pants frequently and no issues with printing. Also wear boot cut scrub pants with good coverage. Comfortable for 12 hour shifts where I walk well over 4 miles. It was definitely took some time to break in. I placed my 938 in a big plastic bag and worked it in to the holster. Then warmed up the leather a little and let it sit for about 5 days. I know an ankle carry isn't optimal, but as a lady, it isn't always practical to carry on a hip.

Great ankle holster at a great price point
If you are looking for the best ankle holster made...I would probably pick the alessi. That is an awesome holster. I used to own an ankle glove and it was very nice but for a bit less $ and just as servicable galco offers the ankle lite. A little background...I am one of those people that hates IWB holsters. They just arent comfortable for me. I have tried several and didnt like any of them. I also think its dumb to give away your number one tactical advantage by open carrying. So that leaves an ankle carry for me. I carry a sig 238 which is perfect for ankle carry and this holster is very secure. While I dont forget its there...it doesnt bother me at all. Best of all...I am always armed when I leave the house!!!

Works, but agree that the fit isn't perfect
This is a quality holster. But as some reviewers have stated, the fit isn't perfect. Mine did take work to break it. Had to use the plastic bag. I still feel like the gun should be further down in the holster. Also, when I secure the retention flap, it doesn't lay flat over the back of the slide. There is a curve in the leather even though the snap is secured. So its not a proper fit. But it works.
