So I bought this rod for a quick trip to Cuba for work. I was quite surprised when I was able to land not one, but SIX very large tarpon. I read some reviews that mentioned their rod broke first fish, but this definitely wasn’t the case for me. Extremely satisfied with this price and purchase.

It's nice to get something that exceeds your expectations...I purchased a 12ft version of this Goture pack rod and was not disappointed. Im doing field studies and reviews on budget friendly fishing equipment to see if off brand gear will measure up. Goture have a few pack rods that are seemingly well made offerings for this segment. The rod came with a well made rode case and rod wrap. The rod weight is well balanced with a larger spinning reel and the action is pretty much bang on medium fast. The hardware is of above average quality and the rod felt good in the hand. Have not fished it yet but Mexico jack's in February should reveal it true worth as an all round surf rod fishing in the 2- 30lb range. Although we haven't fished it yetI did manage a 270ft cast with a 2oz sinker and 40lb braid at our local ball field under perfect conditions...so looking forward to the salt water testing. More to come after Feb..I'm starting with a 4 star rating on build..feel and cast ability. We will see how it fares in the surf but based on preliminary findings I do recommend this rod.

I’ve always been skeptical about multiple piste fishing rods just because I’m confident that one piece fishing rods are more balanced more sensitive I want to be honest they’re just better all around but this is an awesome 4 peace fishing Rod! I bought the 7 foot blue spinning rod, and it is my go to when I need to compact down and travel around with it. It feels just as good as any of my two piece rods and it’s actually pretty close to a lot of my one piece rods as well it’s just slightly heavier and slightly ball gear, but honestly I would definitely recommend buying this no doubt about it!
