EXCELLENT PRODUCT GOES A LONG WAY!
This is a great product and works really well. My filters come out looking brand new and in fact look cleaner than new filters!!I don't normally write reviews. I'm am providing this review on the grounds that I believe that there are other reviews on hear that are an unfair reflection of the product and so therefore felt compelled to share my pennies worth!I purchased this product on the 29th of April. At the time the cost was £14.99. As I write this review my fourth clean/cartridge is currently in soak, that's correct FOURTH. The instructions are not very clear on the product so I can understand why some that have purchased, have used the whole bottle to clean one cartridge. However applying a little common sense goes a long way to getting more from this product. Let me explain, this is 1ltr or 1000ml of solution. The instructions say 'Add 1 litre of Cartridge Cleaner for every 20 litres of water in a bucket'. Using a little math and simple rules of dilution would mean that 50ml of this solution would would treat 1ltr of water. Therefore depending on the size of your filter and the size of the vessel/bucket/jug you are filling to place the filter in, will mean that you can make this product go much much further. For example I add 250ml of this product to 5lts of water in order to completely submerged the filter. This gets me four clean filters. If I could be bothered to find a smaller vessel to clean the cartridge in i.e. one that has a capacity of say 2ltrs then I would get 10 cleans from this product(2 X 50ml = 100ml, 1000ml / 100 = 10).Currently a pack of six new Intex A filters on Amazon costs just shy of £24. I therefore conclude that this product is very good value for money and I will DEFINITELY be buying it again.I hope the above helps those that may be interested in buying this product. Happy soaking/swimming 🏊

Amazing! Definitely recommend
This cleaner is honestly amazing and does exactly what it describes! You don’t need to use the full litre, it does describe this on the back however only if you are using 20 litres of water which isn’t needed. 2 litres of water in a jug is sufficient for one filter, meaning that only 20ml of cleaner is needed. It removes an amazing amount of dirt and grime even after cleaning the filter with would. Would definitely recommend for your lazy spa filters! Has made mine much cleaner and I am able to use them for a longer amount of time now!

Does the job and saves money!
Use for cleaning my Lazy Spa filters. First, I rinse the filter using a garden hose to get rid of any debris (or sometimes, just the kitchen tap). I have cut the base off a 3L lemonade bottle and use this as my container to soak the filter. I put in 50ml of the cartridge cleaner, then top up with 1L of water. Drop the filter into the cleaning solution and leave to soak for 24hrs. As there isn't enough water to make the filter too buoyant, I don't need to worry about weighing it down. After 24hrs, just tip into the sink and rinse. Doesn't come up shiny white, but removes the grease etc and makes the filter considerably whiter than before cleaning! I leave the filter to dry before using again.I have just two filters, and swap out the dirty for the clean filter each time (usually once a week). Using just 50ml of cleaning solution, I get 20 'cleans' out of the bottle, which makes it considerably cheaper than using a new filter every time.

50ml to 1 litre cleaned 3 filters
I am a new hot tub owner and wasn't sure whether to purchase this product or not.We left our first filter in for a week - OMG it was so dirty when it came out and really green, we tried to clean it and decided it was cheaper to replace the filter each time so we ordered 24 filters.Realising that a week was too long we started changing it every 2 to 3 days, the filter then wasn't green but it wasn't completely white either so I ordered a bottle to try. When it came we found an old plant pot holder, just wider than the width of the filter, which holds the filter, a litre of water and 50mls of solution, we washed and put our first filter in, it came out looking like new.Our plan was use it to clean one filter and then replace it but I took a filter out of the spa just as I was going to remove the first filter from the solution so I washed the loose debris from the filter and dropped it into the 'used' solution, left it overnight next day took it out and it was completely clean. This time I tried three filters - I wash the loose debris off filters as I remove them from the pool and then kept them until I have two to clean, I put one in after the other, both of them came out completely clean. Yesterday I took another filter out of the pool and it was a bit green so I washed the loose debris off and dropped it in to the already double used solution. This filter was by far the worst we have added to the solution and when I checked it this morning it was completely clean. (See the picture)My tip is find a container that will take the filter, solution and litre of water and then try reusing the solution. My container is just wide enough to take the filter.

Frankly, this is a complete waste of money.
You can get 6 * 2 packs of filters on Amazon for roughly £24This cleaner, you basically have to use the whole bottle in one go, mixed with 20 litres of water, which means at roughly £15, you have to clean 8 filters before it's worthwhile. That's 8 filters in one bucket. You have to leave them overnight, and then let them dry. And of course you have to store the filters in the meantime.Frankly, this is a complete waste of money.

Wow! Removes so much dirt
This product works really well, I was initially amazed at how much dirt cam out of my inflatable hot tub filter! It does say dissolve in 20l of water but, of course, you can reduce the amount you have to use bu reducing the volume of water you are using. I initially used a bucket and 5 litres of water which covered the cartridge but that still seemed to be using a lot of cleaner, I have now found a container that I can put 1 litre of water in and full submerge the cartridge which is much better value for money.
