I am new to bed head. are the gel and cream easier to use (not hard as this wax) and do they offer strong hold? i use this for texturing/volume.

Haven’t tried the other products but I don’t find this wax hard. It softens in a few seconds on fingertips.

Does this add texture to fine hair? The blue manipulator I purchased was runny and thin. Does this make your hair greasy or weigh it down?

I have very fine hair myself and no it is not greasy nor does it weigh your hair down. I like the volume and the root lift I get with this. It is a wax type product and you need very little at the roots to get volume.

which manipulator is better for fine thin hair, green or blue container?

I found blue to be a little oily. That is why I like the green.

Is this different from the Matte Separation wax?

I haven’t tried the separation wax but this gives definition to the hair.
