This is PROBABLY a good item, so I at least gave it 3 stars.HOWEVER, the description states that it fits all Yamaha outboards. But it does not.It does NOT fit my 1999 Yamaha 40 hp 2 stroke.

Quality is good but wrong size. Need to specify the female side and the male side. I didn't know there were two or three types.

The locking stud on this fitting was too large to allow the hose fitting to slide on. Bought one two weeks before for another boat and it worked fine.

Does not completely sit all the way on to the male prong. only way to use it is to hold it in with your hand while driving.

The seal started to leak after 3 months of use then the would let fuel leak out of tank during transport. Hope the seal has improved.

Perfect! Opened the package, screwed it in, hooked it up. Went fishing.... Worked on my 3 gallon outboard fuel tank.

The part fit perfect and the price was fair

This was a cheaply made faulty part. Purchased same part made in America for less money that did work.
