Formé Shoe Shapers stretch & shape all women's shoe styles from flats to 6 inch heels

Yes, it is kinda cheap plastic and flimsy. No is not a particular value. BUT, it does have some merit. Bottom line is that now that I have it, I am going to keep it. Here is why.Basic shoe stretchers do a great job of stretching the overall shoe including width and length, especially if you use some shoe stretching lotion. They are the way to go for your main stretching needs.This tool is pretty much worthless for length. But, for width, it does something that everyday shoe stretchers can't do. Because of its design, the head of the stretcher goes further inside the toe box of the shoe and stretches the leather in front of the opening without being restricted by the hard ridge of the opening itself.This is why so many of the reviewers state that it worked for them. The design is actually clever...and if where made out of a more sturdy material, this would actually be a great product. Since it is cheap plastic, it is a good product.What I do now is stretch the shoe with stretching lotion and a basic stretcher. Once it gets pretty close, I throw this tool in for a few more days (Yes, Days!). That works pretty well. This last little tweak is the difference between just improving the fit and getting it close to near perfect. The last step is of course to just walk around and break them in. No getting around that. The good news is the time really goes down in breaking them in and none of it is the excruciating pain, just a bit of pressure as you break in the leather.

Pros:Widens the toe box in a natural way, unlike others that widen at the tip first.It’s not bulky.It’s shape is good for flats, boots, and especially heels! It’s shape will go along with nearly anything, which is the main selling point in my opinion.Cons:It won’t stretch length wise like some other models.Doesn’t feel like a sturdy material. I feel like this is the least sturdiest model out of all the other plastics... and wood too. The screw type ones seem to be the sturdiest, not the spring type, if you get what I’m saying.It seems like the material/plastic should feel more sturdy for the price, as it’s very pricey in my opinion.I was hoping for metal and not plastic, I would like to see a metal version of this, also with a screw type action for adjustable length. I really dislike the spring.The perfect shoe stretcher would be made out of mostly metal parts, uses screw action that is adjustable after putting it into the shoe, instead of before.. and also has a way to adjust the length with another screw action (mostly to completely secure it as most shoes won’t stretch out length wise that much.. unless they shrunk because they didn’t have a form inside for a long time.. oops!)Other than that, my initial thoughts would be that it’ll stretch a little by little, and it’ll take a lot longer to stretch a shoe out than other cheaper models.

I've been trying to break in a pair of my favorite stilettos for months and sizing up was too big. I needed to do something since my toes were painfully being crushed as soon as I put them on, so I never wore them. Forme was a bit pricey, but it was worth a shot and now I'm so happy I made the purchase! Since these were 6-inch heels, the shaper wouldn't stay in place without wrapping a rubber band. Afraid of stretching too much, I set it on the first notch overnight with no or little stretch. I then tried setting it in the second notch for the afternoon and walla! I was so happy my toes fit comfortably! Forme is a lifesaver!! Thank you for giving me hope for my toes!!

For years I have attempted stretching my shoes by stuffing them with socks or even paying to have them professional stretched at my local shoe repair shop. I tend to get horrible blisters on the sides of my toes, so when I heard about Formé on Instagram, I was so incredibly excited to try it out myself. Needless to say - I am beyond impressed with this product and I plan on gifting my mother and sister with a set this Christmas! Formé comes in a pre-packaged box which makes it extremely easy to wrap for the holiday season. The rose gold finishing is fantastic and doesn’t peel or flake. I have already used it on several pairs of heels and have noticed a significant difference in comfort each time I wear them. This product is visually pleasing compared to other shoe shapers on the market and is not an eye sore sitting in your closet. The instructions are easy to follow and it’s so comforting knowing I can use this product on both high and low-end heels. Formé is truly revolutionary, and I can see it disrupting the market place in no time!

I AM A FORMÉ CONVERT THROUGH AND THROUGH - I had a pair of vintage heels that always blistered my toes when i wore them so i just resigned them to the back of my closet until my friend recommended this brand to me (I've tried other insert type deals and they never did what i needed) and after having them in for a bit I wore the shoes and they fit perfectly (melted butter footwear comfort status). So - i endorse the **** out of this brand and this product 100% but my favorite thing without a doubt is the message they convey about female power and reclaiming fashion as a tool to express it! As someone who is constantly grappling with being a conscious consumer, this brand fit the ticket. I want to give my money to WOMEN who's m.o. is to help women. TREAT URSELF TO THIS PRODUCT - I'm getting my mom a pair for xmas :,)
