CONNOISSEURS Extra Large Polishing Cloth for Silver Jewelry - Ultrasoft Fabric with Anti-Tarnish Formula - 14x14 Inches

No instructions in the box, the only instructions are brief and on the outside. I used it one sterling silver and unmarked (coin grade 90%) silver. It worked very well. I had some silver jewelry pieces and Hopi and Navajo sterling jewelry bracelets that have been tarnished for about 20 years. It cleaned it right up to a shining finish. I was very happy with the minimal amount of effort it required, the inner cleaning cloth got really dirty but I used the same spot over and over and it still has a lot of cleaner in it. I've attached some pictures of a silver quarter that I had never polished since I found it. As you can see the tarnish was very heavy on the coin, and the cleaning made many more details come through. Some very heavy staining or tarnish still remain, but I didn't try my hardest to get those out. They might come out had I been more diligent. In short, the product does what it is supposed to do. I will probably buy another box to clean our few pieces of silver flatware.

I used the Connoisseurs Silver Polishing Cloth on a much loved, heavily tarnished, sterling silver pendant that has deep grooves. It took +/-10 minutes with little effort using the cloth to make the pendant look like it did when I bought it. I also used the cloth on a sterling silver chain with the same good as new results as the pendant. The cloth is so easy & gratifying to use! It'd be close to a chamois cloth if made thicker which seems like it would be too thick for jewelry polishing. It seems to be the thickness & be the material with the surfaces for cleaning, polishing silver for like new results. The value is in excess of the cost of the cloth.

I've been buying these clothes for a long time. I use on for a few years before getting a new one. I oy use it for my jewelry so how long it will last depends on what you're doing with it and how often. Once mine get all dingy and dark from the tarnish, I get a new one. It works so good. One side cleans a d the other side polishes and shines. It's a large size, so you can easily do large items with it. It is very soft too so it is easy to manipulate into small crevices of jewelry etc. It is amazing how well they work. Everything looks brand new.

I was learning how to clean my jewelry for the first time since my mother always helped me out before and I thought it would be safe to leave the jewelry in the liquid cleaner container overnight but stupidly found out that you shouldn’t do that and it ruined my pandora necklace :( I thought there was nothing I could do to bring the shine back and bought this as a last resort AND AHHHH it’s back to it’s shine! Though the only reason I’m giving it a 4 star and not 5 stars is because it doesn’t get into the cracks and crevices of the jewelry, and you can tell in the after photo that some crevices are still tarnished. But it is an amazing product that would work well on basic jewelry will less small cracks and crevices to clean! I’d recommend it for sure!Also! Like some of the other reviews your hands do get some of the tarnish dirt on them but it easily comes off with soap and water :) i also love how you see the tarnish and dirt show up on the towel!!!

I've had this for awhile. I bought it for travel to keep jewelery sparkling. It does an amazing job at doing just that. What I didn't expect was how amazing of a job it does on bad tarnished jewelery. Had a very old James Avery bracelet of my daughters not worn in 10 years or more. I was getting ready to try the boil water and baking soda method. I thought I would just try the cloth real quick. I couldn't believe my eyes as years of tarnish disappeared. I would have taken a before picture, but honestly was not expecting it to do anything. Just imagine a 10 year old brown and black bracelet. Buy this it is so great for travel too.

Exactly what my silver jewelry needed to make it sparkle again and be wearable and ready to put on. Great value and makes polishing easy!

great cloth for polishing silver, very large

This is the second Connoisseurs Silver Polishing Cloth I have purchased. The first one I bought over 3 years and there is still plenty of use left in it. This one is going to be a gift to my friend who works with a lot of jewelry. I'm sure she will love it.I purchased this originally to polish my Pandora charms. I quickly discovered it worked on much of my other jewelry removing tarnish and returning my bracelets, earrings and charms to like new shine. It's a two part soft cloth sewn together. One side is used first to remove the tarnish then the other side is used to polish and shine. It works well. It doesn't need washed if it starts to look dirty. It will work until as long as it continues to remove the tarnish and polish. Mine is still working just as good as when it was new.Recommended for anyone who wants to keep their fine jewelry looking its best. Also good for those who do wire wrapping and other jewelry crafts.
