Field notes are lovely. A bit pricey but if you write a lot in little notebooks then it is worth making it a pleasure and field notes add to your experience. Paper tolerates a fountain pen well and there are enough varieties of colour types and ruling to satisfy anyone. A wonderful pocket notebook to have with you all the time.

Despite making good use of my phone's various note-taking abilities, there's something that feels a bit special about writing in a small notebook. I sometimes like to get it out and start writing in the middle of a conversation, just to make people nervous.

This memo book is brialliant, the first page gives me the confidence that if i were to lose it it would be returned. I like the different styles of the book and the rules worked very well for me.

Nice little memo books, have them dotted around, in the car etc, you never know why you want to jot something down

This is one field note that put on your pocket and carry everywhere you got and write whenever you need.

Love these wee notebooks, only gripe is the branding printed on the front! Excellent quality!

If you know Fieldnotes already then you will not be surprised at how small and thin these things are, if like me you had heard of the brand and thought the price looked as good as the photo then like me you may be disappointed by the size.Clearly this is for someone who prefers the notion of having a not book in a field rather than taking any amount of serious notes while in a field. ( humour dont comment that there are other uses of the word field :) )For me I can find better note books in pretty much any supermarket that will fit the serious not takers use better than these.
