I only buy Totes umbrellas. They have proven to be strong against strong winds. In NYC as of late we have been getting a lot of storms and these umbrellas (I ordered 2) have lived up to expectations.

Was smaller than I expected. And when I opened it, it did not extend to the full opening like the one I had before, I had to push it up to lock it in place. I was disappointed in this, because I bought Totes because of the 1st one I had and loved for 20 years. Thinking of returning for lager size but unsure about the opening. Example: So, I open my car door and stick the Tote out and hit the button, but it doesn't open fully, so I have my purse plus my lunch bag and a coffee, I have no hands to push it up so, now what do I do?

This item is compact and light weight, so it is perfect for me!

Works extremely well and although it looked cheap initially it is a very good umbrella and it does keep most of the water off, will leave small drops all over it but definitely much dryer than a traditional umbrella. Button allows umbrella to fold and unfold.
