worked for me
putting my older topper on a newer truck. topper a little wider than bed rails. my old clamps only caught the topper. These clamps went completely on mounting surface. very secure.

Worked great to attach an old cap to a newer Chevy 1500.
Got an older (80s vintage) truck cap that needed to be put onto a newer (2010s) Chevy 1500. The cap was slightly wider than the bed rails and standard sized clamps just wasn't providing a good hold. These were extra wide and were able to provide a great and secure fit.

Have a 1999 f150 with a high cap, cap on it, The original clamps are real skinny but these go almost to the edge and grip the fiberglass cap real nice. The only negative is that they only sell in 4 pack. Should be 6 packs. so I have the small one in the middle and these in the front and rear.

Did not use for a fiberglass top but for a aluminum top. Needed a deeper fit and this was the ticket.
