Go a size up if you want a decent fit.
I'm a size 33x28 in jeans and I thought the L fit a bit too tight but the xl fits just right. Even though it's a tad bit loose I like the fit. It feels comfortable and that's all I need when getting a good workout in. I don't like when my pelvis gets hugged too tight. It feels uncomfortable.
