Q: Are these safe for a septic system?

As a plumber who worked in drain cleaning for 2 years, these are NOT FLUSHABLE. If you want to have sewage all over your house and have $300 to $600 you really want to give to someone else then these will technically fit down the toilet drain. They will not break up into small, easily digestible (by bacteria) pieces that are safe for septic or city sewer. Paper towels, wet wipes, sanitary napkins, tampons, dental floss, deodorant bottles,, cloth hand towels, wooden matches and condoms are NOT FLUSHABLE. I have pulled ALL of these items from people's toilet drains before and made a fair bit of money from it. In short, if it doesn't start with a "T" and end in "urd" or "oilet paper" it is not flushable.
