The reviews are so confusing because they are literally for different models in the lineup. Amazon please fix this.ES20 Review: I live in a studio apartment in NYC so getting a 5.2 system was overkill by far. I bought these ES20 monitors to compliment a single ES60 in a bi-amp configuration. As standalone bookshelf speakers, these aren’t bad at all. The mods and highs are CRISP and CLEAN. As you can imaging the bass is not ground shaking but it is adequate. Where these monitors really shine is when I connect my ES60 giving me an immersive experience.I ordered everything in white and omg they are a masterpiece. Zero regrets here except perhaps I could have gotten away with using the ES10’s as wellES60: I’m operating a white single unit in a big amp configuration. One channel for the highs and another channel from the amp for the mids and lows. Much like my review above for the ES20, the 60 is crisp, clean and loud once powered up well. I initially had 80 watts going to the speaker but they seemed weak so now it’s 160 and perfect. Could probably be even better with more. More than adequate for an apartment. Again it’s not going to rattle your floors but damn this thing can get loud. I probably don’t need a separate subwoofer but that’s always an option if you really crave hair raising bass.5 Stars all around for build quality, weight, appearance, clarity and loudness!

Had my eye on these for a long time. Had a pair of Polk rti4's for many years till I played them so loud one night I blew the voice coils. I replaced those with some Nuemi bs5's. For a little over a hundred dollars they are great speakers that punch well above their price. However when I finally caught these Polk es15's used/returned at a price direct from from the Amazon warehouse I couldn't ignore I took the chance. They are brand new though. Never been unboxed, I couldn't believe it. Even at full price they would be worth it. I listen to a lot of different genres of music, some on vinyl, some CD's, and digital copies/streaming. Everything sounds great. Clean, precise, full, and dynamic. Intrument seperation and stereo stage is very wide and detailed. Bass is well defined and tight. Mids are smooth and not too forward. Highs are clean and crisp without being sibilant or fatigueing. Cabinets are very well made and heavier than you would think. Very well built.

The Polk ES15 has very good to excellent soundstage & imaging. One of the best 5.25 driver speakers I have heard, in a very well-constructed cabinet with power-port technology. Very hard to beat at the lower price now offered. Had wanted ES20 but when I saw the dimensions knew it would be massively big at almost 14" deep - the ES15 at 10" deep fits much better on stands with less weight. Bass is substantial for bookshelf speakers, I would say the ES15 is more warm sounding than bright and can be enjoyed without sub for music. Magnet grills and nice walnut veneer finish, I would not hesitate to recommend. Been running them with a Class D TPA3255 and the match has been excellent. These also get loud without any clipping and are not hard to drive, correct sensitivity is 88db. Nice speaker that performs very well.

I will preface this review with the fact that I am not an audiophile, but I know what sounds good to my own ears. These Polk ES55's replaced a pair of BIC America 6.5 bookshelf speakers. Those, and a BIC America center channel speaker served me well for many many years in an 850ish square foot apartment, but once moving into a home, just did not have what I needed in terms of sound. These Polk's are in an approximately 14 x 20 ft room, and right out of the box I am in love!! I have them wired with a set of k4b Bi-Wire speaker cables, which are also amazing for the money. I am using these for a stereo set up only, mainly vinyl, with a Yamaha AS 501 integrated amplifier. They have exactly what I wanted, more bass, while maintaining the clarity that I love. Personally, I don't think an extra sub is necessary, They are perfect for what I need. I also have them right up against a wall due to space, and with the down firing port, they sound amazing. They also look amazing, I love the rounded tops, and they are beefy to boot, excellent construction. Find these on sale and they are well worth the money.

I use these as front L/R speakers in a surround system with a dedicated center speaker for dialogue. We don't have room for a subwoofer so these have to handle all the frequencies. With a little bass boost they do a great job. We don't go overboard on the volume which could make them distort with the bass boosted. We have them wall mounted at listening height using the plastic frames on the back. The frames flex a little but hold the speakers. The only thing I'd change is I wish Polk made white grills as an option. Recommended.

I wanted something a bit on the less expensive side to add some surround back into our 3.1 setup. As surrounds, they seem to work just fine. They have plenty of clarity for that and fill in the surround sound nicely. They also look nice out in plain sight. There's really not much else I can say about these that would be of any help in text form, but I don't regret the purchase at all.

Great speakers for folks who love the Polk sound. The ES-60's is a beast in a smallish package, they provide that silky smooth Polk sound after a short 'burn in'. Nothing is muddled on these speakers, but the performance is relaxed not at all like Klips in your face highs. If you like that classic sound of those old school speakers from the 80's then these are your cup of tea. If you like a more forward speaker, then they are not for you.The bass on these is perfect for my listening of Jazz music, but in a home theater situation you might want to cross them at say 80 and use a sub or two.The mids on these are sweet not harsh.The tweeters are little soft, that softness really shows on female voices. They move female singer back a bit, not an issue for me but some may find that sometimes she gets a little lost in the music. That being said they perform beautifully and are not tiring at all.I would recommend these to anyone, they are worth trying out in your room, I am sure 99% will keep them.

Venia de unas Klipsch R51M y ahora con estas Polk ES15 estoy sorepndido y sumamente satisfecho, el sonido de estas polk es diferente y me gusta mas que Klipsch, definitivamente tienen mas graves, quiza un poco mas medios y definitivamente mucho mas agudos sin que hasta el momento sea molesto. El resultado final es sonido mas presente, un poco mas fuerte mas brillante, pero en definitiva me gusta mas. El diseño tambien es muy bonito y gracias al puerto trasero puedo ponerlas mas cerca de paredes o esquinas

Si estás considerando el Polk Audio Signature Elite ES55, no necesitas buscar más. Este es el altavoz que estás buscando.Bajos profundos, poderosos y controlados, agudos nítidos que no cansan, medios claros que te hacen sentir que tienes al cantante frente a tí... todo ésto en un gabinete sólido, sin resonancia y con terminado digno de un mueble fino. Extremadamente capaz al reproducir piezas complejas al grado que estoy escuchando detalles que no había escuchado antes en piezas que había escuchado cientos de veces con mi equipo anterior. Sensibilidad promedio, por lo que un amplificador con al menos 50W/canal es lo mínimo para que los altavoces puedan lucirse, pero vale enormemente la pena. Su sonido es de cálido a neutro lo que lo hace ideal para música, pero se comporta maravillosamente en un Home Theater. Los bajos tienen una presencia tan notable que para mucha gente un subwoofer será opcional. Al precio de oferta, este altavoz es la mejor compra que se puede hacer en audio de alta fidelidad en éste momento pues otros altavoces que igualen al ES55 en calidad de reproducción y de manufactura te costarán el doble o más.

Eu nunca tinha ouvido nada da Polk, mas depois de ter comprado e instalado a qualidade é ótima, vale a pena.

Instalei junto com as caixas dolby atmos da Polk e ficou excelente, você percebe claramente a diferença nos sons. Mais que recomendado.
