This took maybe about 10 minutes to assemble without any prior knowledge or looking at the instructions. It has some decent instructions to help you get started but all the part and features are standard in the telescope world so it is very easy to find stuff online to help if you are having issues. It packs up into the carrying case very nicely. I had only 2 issues with this product. 1. The carrying case had a worn hole in it from rubbing on the non Amazon box but it's a carrying case so that's fine. 2 the phone holding system is passible at best. It's ok for getting pictures but my expectations where set too high. I also have an older phone so maybe that's part of the problem? Over all this was a blast to use to just look around. I have always wanted to get one and I am happy I finally pulled the trigger.

I’m disappointed with the quality of the product. It might be easy to set up but the lenses were a bad quality and phone adapter is completely USELESS. I’m fighting to return this item. Amazon does not offer returns on this item (first time this happens to me)Be aware before purchasing this telescope!!!!

I miss the two black screws of the viewfinder that were not supplied. And you really don't see the other stars well with the other lenses. Except for the craters of the moon, but I could see other planets.

This is model LT80500 which is the more updated model with a higher model number and higher price point. This is my first time buying experience with the brand BOBLOV telescopes, and I was attracted to its beautiful pearl white design. I actually got 2 models, this more expensive model by about $20 is LT80500 ($199.99 retail) versus LT70700 ($179.99 retail). Compared to a prior full-size telescope (not a mini) that I got prior to this, I would say the BOBLOV model is the more superior brand in terms of clarity, although it does not come with a protective sleeve for the telescopes.This mildly more expensive model (LT80500) has a higher objective aperture of 80mm versus 70mm, but a shorter focal length at 500mg versus 700mm. Amazingly, this mildly more expensive model features less magnification of up to 150 times versus 210 times of the less expensive model. All the other features seem to be the same, such as Zenith mirror 45 degrees orthoscope, with the same red dot viewfinder, FMC anti-reflective coating, stainless steel bracket tripod material, Altazimuth mount, and aluminum alloy tube material.Both have a red dot viewfinder which requires battery (included). Although I really like this option, I wish the battery is rechargeable because I really hate replacing batteries, which can get expensive over time and degrade if not changed regularly. With that said, make sure you pull the plastic film before using or else it won't work.

The telescope works well instructions are simple to understand. The red laser does work fine to help you aim at your object. Comes with a bag for easy storage or to travel with. Only thing is that the smartphone adapter didn't work on my iPhone 11 I try multiple times following the instructions but everything I attached it to the telescope I couldn't see anything. Perhaps a smaller phone with one camera or lighter one would work but not sure since I do not own one. Overall it seems like a great starter telescope for kids and adults.

Don't buy this item. The price is too expensive for the bad quality. Get something better.

One of the extended legs doesn't work. I fasten it, but it won't stay extended. It's pretty frustrating. The lenses are really poor quality. Can't see the stars or moon clear with those lenses. Do not recommend this stuff.

It's useless, you can't see anything, the lens looks very fuzzy, the accessories are flawed, and the service attitude is very bad. It was originally possible to return for free, but it was changed to non-refundable after the purchase!
