I speak English and my wife speaks French so this is a FANTASTIC way for our son to be immersed in both languages with a heartwarming and wonderful story. The book delivers a wonderful message with colorful and diverse illustrations and the inclusion of historical characters at the end just adds to it's charm. We are buying the rest of the books in this series!

Great serie of books, french is more advance for children, but both translations are good and pictures are lovely

I bought this book as a gift for a bilingual child. The text is a heartwarming and lovely message for any child, beautifully written. The illustrations are whimsical and cute. I haven't seen the entire book collection but I'm happy to see that there are books that celebrate the uniqueness and diversity of children everywhere.

I liked the text a lot. It repeats the first part and then comes up with a new wish on each page . The two new words of what is wished for are colored so easy to learn and remember. There is wisdom in in these one paragraph short wishes.I highly recommend to those even older children who are learning French. I am giving this to my 15 year old granddaughter learning French.

It’s a nice book with lovely and encouraging words. I am bilingual and it’s just as important to teach my child how to speak, understand and read in French too . This book is great .
