Smells woodsy and cedar, I had a favorite candle 3 years ago that they discontinued their business and then I found this and I'm quite pleased with it. It's not strong, but it smells somewhat like a wood fireplace.

My daughter loved the Barbie movie and is in college with her own apartment, so this was a great Christmas gift for her. She loves the smell and the quality of the candle can’t be beat. The glass container is made of thick glass and the label is cute. It can fit into any decor. It is worth the money.

This is listed as a soy wax candle. The incomplete combustion of petroleum-base fuel creates soot that contains carcinogens. Not only does the soot coat leave residue on walls, curtains, and surfaces, it can be very damaging to your health if you burn candles often. Soy wax creates NO SOOT when burned and doesn't create carcinogens. Not only is the soot very visible along the rim of the candle glass, it was also all over the white painted wall behind the candle (not very easy to spot in the photo), and on multiple white surface throughout my ENTIRE home (despite only being lit in my entryway!) If my children and I were in the next room from where the candle was burning, we developed a headache! I burn soy candles all the time and have NEVER experienced this. Upon purchasing and initially smelling this candle, I’d planned to buy one for every occasion. Unfortunately, after this experience, I’m fairly certain this company is selling cheap paraffin candles as soy candles, which is FRAUD. I’d truly like to know how this company explains this, before I consider filing a consumer complaint against them?

This candle smells absolutely wonderful. However, I am mostly impressed by the quality of the candle. I had to use this during a power outage after a hurricane and the burn time and the brightness were a god-send! Would buy many more from this company for just the quality alone, with or without the great smell.
