For such a small screen the picture is crystal clear! I bought this dash cam for my dad from Costco for Father's Day & was so impressed by it I got myself one from Amazon on Prime Day. Cobra makes quality products & it's a great value. I only wish you could watch the videos saved from the app

Stoped working like three months after I bought it can't get any customer service don't buy

Initially gave this product 4 STAR rating. I've reduced it to a 2 star rating too many problems with this item. Company has been contacted. Now I need to gather proof of purchase along with some other info they need in order for them to repair it. Purchase this product if you want to gamble, if not, do not bother. It was a birthday gift flop.

I have had this camera for a year now, I love this a lot has parking shutdown when the car is sitting to long it will turn off on it own if there is movement infront of one of the camera it turns back on, the only dish like is I have to pull the chip out everytime and install it in my comp to get the videos, theres other cameras with wifi but not front a rear camera, I dont know what this ppl are talking about when they are saying they have problems with it maybe they didnt update the frameware or have it plugged in right

So far, so good. I don't know why the other reviews are so bad with this product because mine does what it's supposed to do, take clear videos of me driving down the road. I don't need it to do anything more than that. It comes with a power cord long enough to hide around the dash, the suction cup sucks like it supposed to, slapped it on the windshield and plunged in the cord and it works great. I can't imagine anything being easier to install and use. I guess some people want an app to offer up all kinds of custom settings and I'm sure this has some of that, but I don't need this camera to do anything more than it does, shoot 1080p video and continually record over the card forever. It has a button that you can push to take photos and another for saving video so it won't get written over and that's all I want out of a dash cam. I think in the future, I might like some interesting added things dash cams will do but for now, this is enough. These will just keep getting better and cheaper for years to come, but for 98 dollars at Costco, I got a good deal, and probably wouldn't have bought one of these if Costco hadn't had them. It's cheap insurance I think, but your buying a long term think for one time payment. If you ever need the video this can capture for you, it could be worth thousands of dollars in a law suit. I didn't give it 5 stars because I haven't had it long enough, I may upgrade it in six months and if it gives me a video I can use in court to help me, I will instantly give it 5 stars. A 1080P camera for a hundred bucks is a great price I think. After a month or so, I will buy another one for another car.

My unit has died for the second time in 4 month and Cobra will not replace. Taking back to Costco for refund to purchase different brand.

Don't buy it at Costco then write a review on Amazon go to Costco's website and Pitch there I have the Cobra 840 and it works great the suction cup mount sucks a little but the camera itself with the 32 megabit chip will loop 8 hours
