Q: How many candles per box?

I received 1 candle. Literally 1 candle for almost $35.

Q: where are they made? tks!

They are made in Charleston, S.C. and they are the only candles that I have been using for years. Truly dripless, no scent, elegant.

Q: what is the diameter of the candle at the very bottom?

The portion of the candle that inserts into the candle stick holder is slighlty tapered from 3/4" at the very bottom to 7/8" a little further up.
