Would it be to small for a 6 year old?

No. I bought it for my 3 year old granddaughter, but her 6 year old sister wears it too.

Does it fit an 8 year old?

My daughter was six when she wore it and had plenty of room. I’m sure it would fit an 8 year old easily!

Perfect

This is perfect! Great quality for a great price. All the other Moana necklaces I looked at (even name brand) had bad reviews. This one had the best reviews so I went for it and am very pleased! My little one absolutely loves it! Sturdy, looks good, and great price. Highly recommend. (It does not open and it does not come with the "heart".)

Cute & durable set..

Bought to go with my 3 year olds Moana Halloween costume. Hair bow clip is fantastic quality and can be used on a daily basis. Necklace is not cheap and has withstood the roughness of her playing also.

Fits larger than expected but it works!

I felt like it was a little large to be considered toddler size. It fit more like a child size even on the shortest link. My 3 year old i got this for is almost 4 ft tall and about 40 lbs and it was rather large on her.
