Q: I am unfamiliar with these. Once you hook the wire, do you push on what looks like a plunger? Are double male banana plug cables needed?

I will have a closer look at it I think it is spring-loaded.I have not used them yet.

Once you pierces it is locked on that cable until your done. It cannot come loose.
