That would vary from one bag to another since all the stones are different shapes and sizes. In a bag of 1-3 inch stones there would typically be from 20 to 40 stones, but that could be more or less depending on the size of the stones. We try to make sure there is a good mix of the smaller and larger stones in each 2 lb. bag.

would these be okay in a betta aquarium? I don’t want my fish to cut his tail or harm himself in another way because of these.

I just got these. They are very smooth. No rough edges. I do not want any of my fish to get scraped/cut and I am really very happy, will be buying more. Comes in different shapes and sizes. I'd say a few were a little too small probably for an axolotl. But the rest fine, and again very smooth. Rinse them off in warm water to get all the dust off

Would this help ancor or hold down natual plants?

I have a live plant tank, theses will not work to hold down plans, you can build up a section and back fill with substrate and gravel for a deeper root bed ( what I did ). Lead anchor tape works best for me.

Can these be used in a terrium with a bearded dragon?

Absolutely! We also sell larger sizes if your beardie is going to outgrow this size. They will arrive slightly dusty, so be sure to rinse thoroughly before adding. If you plan to stack them, make sure to glue them together (with safe glue) to keep your beardie safe from the stones toppling over.
