Weber Genesis SPX-435 Premium Smart Grill, Liquid Propane Gas Grill for Outdoor Cooking, 4 Burners and 1 Side Burner, Stainless Steel

This was a wedding gift for my brother and his wife. They love it. He was a charcoal only man and hasn't gone back to the grill he had once!

I bought this grill for my father after Hurricane Ian destroyed the cheap Nexgrill he'd been using previously. My father has always been a propane man and for his replacement I wanted to get him the nicest propane grill I possibly could. I work at Home Depot and we sell the Genesis in a 3 burner. But I wanted him to have the 4. He does a lot of grilling and I knew he's make use of the larger cook area. This grill comes with a probe that it very helpful for monitoring the internal temperature of larger cuts of meat. He used it for the first time on some pork loin and WOW what a difference it made. With Weber connect he could get real time data sent to his phone and even an alert once his target temp of 150 degrees was reached. Pork loin tends to be a dry cut of meat, easy to overcook. But with Weber connect my father cooked it perfectly. The grill is a 4 burner but has 2 additional burners. 1 is an open flame side burner that he's yet to use but has expressed interest on doing some side veggies. The other is an extra burner that is very effective at searing meat. My father first seared the pork loin on all sides before dropping the flame and letting the heat penetrate the meat. The LED dials are bright and really make the grill stand out at night. All in all it is a smartly designed product. The light on the grill hood makes after hours cookouts way more manageable, and the option to turn off the light during daytime helps conserve power. Your propane tank also hangs from a scale and sends real time data to your phone about how full the tank is. Never run out of fuel again! The coolest thing about Weber is all of the additional products you can get to enhance your grilling experience. The grill comes with an open grate, perfectly suited for putting a pot or wok directly on the grill. You could also opt to purchase a pizza stone if you'd like to try some grilled pizza! I got my old man a Weber brand smoker box that you can add wood chips to and then place in the grill to impart some smoky flavor to your meat. He's going to try some pecan wood chips on ribs the next time he grills and I'm excited to taste how they come out. Only con is the assembly. Took him 2 hours to build, but given all of the features that it comes with you'd expect such a product to require such time to properly build. We're currently in the market for a rotisserie since my father wants to try it on his grill. After Ian, our backyard was and still is in shambles. But this grill was worth every penny to give my old man back some sense of normalcy, his outdoor kitchen was his haven, his little escape, and it was gone. In my opinion it was worth every penny to see him light up and fall in love with this amazing Weber product.

This is my second weber, and probably 12th grill overall. It is by far my favorite. I bought two 16" pizza stones and routinely do pizza for neighbors, friends and family. A bit of a learning curve as this grill GETS TOO HOT for pizza. Who would have guessed. Once I brough the temp DOWN to 600 degrees, pizzas cooked perfectly. Steaks sear to perfection in just 8 minutes (4 mins a side). Love the app. Seems to be pretty accurate.

I've owned Weber grills since 1973 and have always been impressed with their quality and versatility. After much research, we chose to replace an inherited Charbroil with this one. First, the drawback. It is easy to assemble if you have good eyesight. At 71 mine is not as good as it once was, but our 35 year old was able to save the day. The grill is solid and I expect it will give many years of service. I do like the phone app and the lights for the grill actually work! We ordered accessories so we could sear steaks and use a griddle. The display on the grill is hard to see in bright light, which is typical of any outdoor display. The control knob lights are an added bonus. Have not tired them yet, but I am sure they will work well. Used a Blackstone at a recent VRBO and I expect the griddle will give the same results.Another thing to consider is replacement parts are readily available at many big box stores and online.I do recommend this grill.

I purchased this grill due to the Weber brand. The grill is OK, although for this price, there are much better options I wish I would have chose. The stainless steel is not the same grade as on previous Weber grills, and the smart features need to help with grilling and not just tell you the temperature. This grill is basically an average gas grill at best.

I read a lot about problems with the assembly instructions. I had already prepared myself for a knock down drag out with the ole lady. We took our time and actually found this one easier than the small weber I bought about a year ago. All the smaller boxes have letters so don't just start spreading everything out and you should be fine. Cooking on the grill is excellent.I am missing the lid bumpers but a quick phone call and they have them on the way, so had a problem and actually talked to someone and they are fixing the issue which is rare these days unfortunately.

We are yet to try the grill; it looks great though. Assembly with 2 people they started at 6pm (evening) and finished about 4:30am (morning), nonstop. And one of them is very good with assembly. It comes completely unassembled. Amazon should offer the option to assemble otherwise if you are not an expert then better to buy from another company that offers assembly.

Why did I wait so long? I've never had a grill that could get this hot this fast. The temperature probe is steller, as is the low propane alert.Assembly takes quite a bit. It's clear cut, just a lot to do.
