Smelled so strongly of smoke that it was almost comical.
Smelled so strongly of smoke that it was almost comical. I soaked it and scrubbed it with no luck, and even sent it through the dishwasher set to "tough scrub", but it still reeked. And to be clear, I'm not saying that it "smelled a bit like smoke". I'm saying that when I took the plastic off my whole kitchen smelled like there had been a fire! It smelled more strongly of smoke than my BBQ does, and that is not an exaggeration!

The item shown is not the item received. It looks the same, however, the good quality products have the cloth patch on the front. The item I recieved does not.

Great for steaming rice!!
The item works the way it is suppose to. However, when I received the item, it was folded and wrapped so tight that it caused part of the basket to break. I would definitely recommend not folding it in half and wrapping it with plastic wrap so tightly. Other than that it was a good purchase.

I'm happy with the product. you get exactly what you pay for and it steams sticky rice beautifully.

NO LID AND IT SMELLS LIKE GASOLINE WHEN USED.
Does not come with the lid. I know it shows a lid on the pictures but it does not come with a lid. Also once you get the basket somewhat wet it smells like gasoline. STINKY!
