As an amateur artist I was thrilled with my first order of these markers as they added a nice pop of sparkle to my work. With the original set, they wrote and drew smoothly, were such fun to use, and used so often, that I opted to order a second set when given a gift card for Christmas. The second set proved to be a huge disappointment.Pictured with this review are two purple markers, the top one from the original order and the bottom one from the reorder. I used the reorder option from my Amazon order history and believed I'd be sent the same markers. When I started to use the new set, the purple, white and pink markers were bone dry. It's like when you leave them uncapped long enough that they dry out, but they arrived fully capped and in a plastic holder with a closing feature to keep everything together. There is no reason they would have dried out before they were delivered unless they were packaged and sent that way.Looking at the original and new markers I saw they have different manufacturer's or icons listed and the numeric codes were slightly different. I'm looking to return the second set for the useless dried pens and may need to reconsider a new brand or take my chance on a reorder.For those looking to try these markers, be careful not to press down too hard when using them or the tips split and bend and no longer flow well. The second photo I've included with this review shows a simple drawing done with the first set for anyone looking for a reference on how the colors look on paper.

The markers take a little time to dry maybe like two minutes but they are nice and glide well on the pages. The tips of the markers are very sturdy so you don't get the blotting.

I got 2 of the exact same colors I got 2 green and 2 white! And the pink and blue are dried out
