I tried several portable Bluetooth speakers, but most of them distorted badly when I turned up the volume. In terms of both sound quality and loudness, this speaker sounds the best. Pairing is intuitive, and when connecting to an iPhone the device appears right away and the connection is immediate, so it is perfect for users who switch among multiple devices. The price feels reasonable, and the battery lasts a long time.

I'm a happy camper. For a BT speaker it is impressive.For a portable battery operated speaker it is heavy. Portable but not lightweight :-)Not sure if it is just ballast filled (some BT speakers are weighted to make owners think it's big bass speakers)It DOES have excellent bass response and I may not have even turned it up all the way.I have a working Soundcore mini that I enjoy for it's uSD card and FM radio. This is what I use when I want a thumper.I have a nice QSC 850 (200 watt per @8 Ohm) amp and wired nad rattlers and this is in the range for most of my foot thumpin listening.Not yet max range tested but it does what I got it for.I'll edit if it is an issue else HAPPY CAMPER good to go!It's NOT 12" wooofers but it is impressive for it's size. :-)It is a shame there is a delay for wired input because it would be a cool portable guitar amp. I have no interest in investing in a BT xmitter so, oh well, still definitely worth the price of admission.

Nice little bluetooth speaker. Syncs up quickly with any bluetooth device, has good sound quality. Buttons a little hard to press, but this is a bathroom-capable speaker, where the buttons are encased in rubber and entirely protected from water. Would work by the swimming pool or boat dock, but you'd want a bigger speaker for the boat dock. Recharges quickly, easy to run.

The sound quality is good for the price. I haven't tested it at full volume; I basically use it just for myself. The battery lasts a long time; I've used it for over 24 hours, and it's still working perfectly. I bought it thinking I'd be able to hear the stereo effect, but I think that was asking too much from such a small speaker. Perhaps pairing it with another speaker could achieve that effect. Overall, I'm satisfied with the build quality and sound, except for the fact that it's not stereo; that's why I only gave it 4 stars.

Clear sound, easy to pair to my devices, and can get loud. Also, a good quality product that should last a while, which makes the price worth it.

I bought the Anker Soundcore2, based on past experience with Anker products, for the garage and around the firepit. I'm blown away by what this little speaker can do. The sound is crisp, the bass is punchy and it gets loud enough, without distortion, for my taste. I didn't expect much from a speaker under $50, but this thing punches way above its weight.The battery life is good. I've used it for a few hours now and still haven't needed to recharge. The Bluetooth connection is solid, and pairing was effortless.I have recommended this to friends already. It's a great deal, especially with 11% off sale, another $10 coupon and no tax holiday price of $29.99.

Recently moved into a new office (with my own window and door!), but now that I’m separated from the general noise of a cubicle farm, I quickly realized it was a little too quiet and I needed a speaker for music while I work. I’ve had a mini jambox by jawbone for years but didn’t want to take it back and forth, so I decided to buy this Anker speaker because the reviews were excellent and the price was *chef’s kiss*. Perfect for something to leave at work without worrying about it being stolen. The sound quality is good, not scratchy or too high pitched. Plenty of bass. But to be fair, I don’t turn the volume up that loud, but for my purposes it’s perfect. The only thing I dislike - and it’s mostly just a me issue and not something worth knocking a star off - is that when you turn it on, it does this obnoxiously loud, three-part sound effect thing that basically alerts the whole office that I’ve sat down at my desk in the morning, and then does a similar loud sound when you turn it off. The volume of these effects are much louder than whatever volume I normally have it set to and I’m not sure of a way to make it not do that. But I have this same pet peeve with my jawbone speaker, so maybe that’s just a common thing with portable speakers?? Idk but I personally hate that lol. Anyway, other than that annoying on/off noise, it’s a great speaker and I do recommend. Especially for the price!!
