Do we have to plug it in to anything or does it have a power box that it runs on like a mini generator?

You do have to plug in two power plugs. One for the xbox and one for the box monitor. The accessories power through the xbox usb hub. So you need a 2 3-prong outlet extension cord. Sam's has a good pack that has a "monkey fist" ball shaped outlet hub and a disc shaped outlet hub. The disk one fits easy in luggage and is what I have in my bag to use in the hotel. Power usage reads as about 128 Watts on my inverter, with my fridge going as well, if that is a concern.

I would like to know the voltage requirements and if it will work both in us and outside of us?

It's a regular wall plug in. The TV has a 3 prong power cord.

Will this work with a Nintendo Switch?

I have never owned a Nintendo Switch. So I don't know if the connections are the same as a switch and utilize a USB and HDMI connection to run on your TV, monitor, etc. My guess is it will work, but I can't be certain since I have never hooked up a Nintendo Switch to my Case Club portable case. I don't know if you saw the video that answers all questions about the portable case and how it works. It did not mention whether its compatible with the Nintendo Switch or not, but I've included the video that you can watch to see if it lets you know the answer to your question or not. I didn't hear the spokeswoman say anything regarding that but maybe the video will answer your question or you an get their contact info from the video and reach out to them and ask for confirmation before you pay for one of these cases.
