I went natural over a year ago, and I have heard many stylists talk about/have read many blogs and articles about the silk press. I wanted to try one but mostly maintain my hair at home, so after looking on Amazon I found this product. I must say it works well. It will give you a *relaxer look* & And leave your hair shiny. Plus it is quick and easy to apply. You do have to be careful not to apply to much of the foam product. If you do it will make your hair too stiff, and you will lose the body and movement that most people desire in their hair.Overall I think it’s a great inexpensive at home product, and I recommend it for those who just want to have an option for a temporary relaxed look for natural hair.

Unfortunately it didn't work on my hair, it wasn't that the product was bad, I just haven't flat ironed my hair in years so it didn't last but it looked really nice in the moment, and it had my hair suuuper soft

I did not like it. really did not work for my hair what so ever. my hair did not come out smooth, silky or straight like it was suppose to. Will not purchase again.

I have two girls with long thick natural hair. I tried this product on both and it worked great. I had to use most of the shampoo and conditioner on their hair due to length and thickness. Results were great. I used a hand hair dryer to better straighten hair and flat iron. My girls were very excited and surprised how product made hair softer. You will need to devote time for products to stay in hair longer than recommended. All products came with full bottles.

I think the product was great but my flat iron is crappy so the product didn't do as well as i thought it would

I'm transitioning and my husband and I are going on vacation. I'm needed something cheap and quick to do with my hair and decided to give this a try. My hair is very thick and curly, and this kit really worked for me. I love how soft and straight my hair is, without any chemicals.

It really makes the hair silky smooth and lasted two wks but it also destroy the hair's natural texture. I don't know how it might work with a more coarse hair ttpe but my hair was thin to begin with and after i washed my hair it looks half straight and half curly. Btw i'm african american.
