RØDECover 2 - Protective Cover for the RØDECaster Pro II

If you've purchased a Rodecaster Pro II, then you'll know it's an awesome and powerful piece of kit.A protective cover can seem frivolous, right? To me, no.I want to protect it from dust and accidents when on location or just in the studio sitting idle.The buttons and fader tracks are easy targets for dust, crumbs and accidental drips of liquid and that's not even thinking about the touch screen.So, for me getting this OR paying for a repair or replacement if anything happens, it's an obvious choice to get a protective cover like this.Being branded and sold officially by RODE themselves, you don't have a worry of them saying "we're sorry but you used a 3rd party product to try and protect your equipment".

This was definitely needed.. I Kid you not the hour I've put this on the cover my Rodecaster Pro I dropped tea all over it so I would say it was the best £40+ quid I've spent in a long time

Yeah, it's a little pricey for what it is.Probably an item more for enthusiasts than anything, but it does help to keep your RCPII clean and safe from any nasties getting to close to it when you're not there to protect it. Cat's, Parrots, Children...elderly relatives trying to change the TV channel with it...that kind of thing.Something very therapeutic about 'putting it to bed and wrapping it up' for the evening.I may have an addiction. Please send help.

I like this, it keeps my Procaster II clean. The problem I have is that at the price they're selling Procasters, a lid should be included without having to buy one separately. Thumbs down to RODE on this!!

Well it's a lot better than the unit it covers!!!!

Expensive for what it is, I wouldnt have bought it but I was given a £10 off voucher by Amazon so I bought it. Keeps the Rodecaster Pro II safe when im not using it.

Have been using it for 3 months now. No issues. Does the trick and have no issues with the top being scratched - although I am pretty careful with it.
