Haribo Tropi - Frutti Gummi Candy 200 g

My husband brought a bag of assorted Haribo gummy bears home from Germany for me. I loved them even more than the US ones, so I checked the ingredients. They’re flavored and colored with actual fruit juices, and sweetened with sugar. Real sugar! The US version is artificial flavors, sweetened with high fructose corn syrup. The tropical ones were my favorite of the assortment pack, and I’m so happy to find them here. So yummy, and made with real fruit. Hope the regular bears are the real thing, too, because they’re next! EDIT: only problem is that they expired a year ago. Still yummy, but they were made in 7/2023, and expired in 7/2024

It took nearly two months to get this. About two weeks plus to ship. Aside from that....The gummies themselves were weird. They seemed to have this strange old coating of wax around each of them. A thick coating too mind you, not just a thin layer of it. It was basically all flavored wax with a gummy bear sized gummy in each. Maybe i just got a really bad batch, but it definitely was not worth the price. The flavors were strange; the only decent one was the clearish/white one that tasted like pineapple/peach. There was one that tasted like pandan, one that tasted like plum, another orange...... And a weird plum banana one. Definitely odd.Definitely do not recommend.

When I was a kid my dad was stationed in Germany and I used to eat these all the time, since moving back to that states I haven't had these in like 20 years. A conversation with a friend a few months ago triggered a memory of these candies and the hunt was on. Naturally it had German writing and even if I remembered the name of the candy it wouldn't have been the same in English packaging. I opened this last night and it was a nostalgia revelation. I love these gummies they have a really interesting texture (I'm one of those strange people who enjoys or despises the texture of certain foods) Anyway the gummies are rough and a little hard on the outside and really gummy on the inside which feels really cool when you eat them (At least to me) The flavors are the same that I remember I think they added a new grape or raspberry flavor which my friends and I thought wasn't that great but neither are the new grape Runts so what are you going to do? The best ones are still the pineapples. If you are looking for an interesting gummy to try out give these guys a shot!

I like them because they all don’t taste the same! They actually taste like tropical fruit. They also have a nice consistency. They aren’t like chewing on a rubber band! I love them.

Delicious. A bit pricey but tastes good. Soft and fresh.

Not sure if this was intentional but it should be known that I ordered 200g and received 175g that was labeled as 200g. So I overpaid and seller under delivered. I need this for a stocking gift so I’m keeping it because at least it’s the right item. But not cool

I love Haribo and this product is getting very hard to find locally- I was so happy to find it, but the product was practically unchewable and the package was not 200grams as advertised, but only 175 grams

I love Haribo gummies, but I didn't love these. If you like tropical flavors these are good, but I found the texture of these gummies to be strange. I gave it 4 stars, because I don't hate them, but I just did not prefer them over the other 20 plus ones I like.
