1 hr trying to get it to work - I give up - 5 more minutes to write a review of my experience
My first computer's CD drive couldn't read the install cd - my second computer's CD drive barely read it so that I could copy it to a thumb drive and back to the original computer that needed the wireless adapter. That being done, i installed drivers on the first computer and reset it.....drivers installed but the user interface didn't - reread the instructions and tried reinstalling but no go - I'm at 1 hour on something that should be pretty much plug and play - still doesn't work....I'm done (I build my own computers from components so a simple usb wireless adapter should not be a problem) not even worth my time to try to return it. I'll buy something else that at least has a download link for the drivers

You get what you pay for.
Doesn't have a great connection, but you get what you pay for. I wouldn't use it for work or anything that is even remotely network heavy. Gaming is straight out.Tried a higher end netgear USB receiver and the thing got near perfect signal.

Worth every penny and works like a charm
This rescued a very serviceable older laptop for which there was no Windows 10 driver for its WI-Fi. Worth every penny and works like a charm.

Keep receipts until you do speedcheck
The speeds I got were about 2k. I get 30 with my onboard connection. Almost 90 with my cableI am not technical enough to say if it's just my laptop or not. It does work it just did not work well for me
