Depending on how you want this to fit I would suggest you may need to size down if you want a more fitted look my husband is normally a large in shirts and medium in shorts he is very muscular we purchased this in a medium and it fits beautifully… really nice quality set.

This is not a 2XL shirt
I’m 6’0 230 muscular and this is not a 2XL shirt. The shorts fit fine but the shirt is more like a large. Good quality and feels good though
