I really like this kettle. As long as you use it per instructions it is great! Heats water quickly, good beep notifications and steam release holes on top. I think it’s a good unit and good value.

So we enjoyed making our own tea brand with this dainty kettle. Use it for air travel also so you don’t get cold tea anywhere

The media could not be loaded. When it worked, it was very useful. Heated water in about 5 minutes, got it very hot, and held it at temperature as long as it stayed plugged in. I only got to use it about 12-15 times, though, before it stopped responding. I can plug it in and it lights up and beeps, but does not respond to the controls anymore, so it doesn't heat water.There is no option through Amazon for a return or a refund although I have only owned it for two months. This is the second 3-day trip I've used it for. I'd like a refund or a replacement please. If my review is still up, I haven't had either.Another note: I am not confident about the temperature control on this unit. It has multiple options and I only ever used the second-hottest setting (195 degrees F I think). I tried resetting it to the hottest setting (200+) once or twice after it reached temperature on the second-hottest and only got an immediate double beep indicating it was already at the hottest temp, which would mean that using the second-hottest setting boiled water to the hottest setting I guess? I had planned to test it with an instant-read thermometer after this trip, but the kettle died so that won't be possible.

It only works if you have an energy outlet so it’s not really on the go, can’t connect or use it in a car so it’s basically not for travel.

I have used a coil immersion heater for years on cruise ships. I love having hot tea in my stateroom.This is much better in that it heats the water and gives you an isolated vessel to keep it hot. Perfect! The problem is that it quit on our second cruise in less than 3 months. I probably used it less than 20 times. I NEVER plugged it into 220V or ran it low on water. It's a shame because I really liked it. Fortunately Celebrity provided a real kettle when I asked.

it just doesn't work. plug in the power, there is a beep and the light turns on. THE POWER/START BUTTON DOESN'T WORK!!!! Will definitely return.
