amazing industrial grade fans. i have these on my patio and boy do they move some air. these are fantastic. My electrician was asking where i got them so he could start carrying them on his truck. he said they were some of the nicest outdoor fans he has installed.

The description clearly states this down rod is 1” diameter but it is only 3/4”, which is not a substitute when you need a 1 inch diameter rod! Returning but irritated by the waste of time and unnecessary project delay.

Works as described

Good price, arrived quickly, and matched the color of our new ceiling fan perfectly. Much better than trolling down to the lighting store.

We bought this for a different brand ceiling fan and it worked perfectly.

I recently bought an Emerson ceiling fan (CF765BQ) on Amazon to install in my outdoor gazebo. I needed a longer downrod, because the 6" downrod that came with the fan was too short, and simply would not work for my purposes. I tried to buy a downrod from a local hardware store, but it did not work because the Emerson fan I bought only fits a 1/2" diameter downrod, and they only sold 3/4" diameter rods.I turned to Amazon, and bought this Emerson downrod. I was able to install my new ceiling fan without any issues after that. The downrod itself was pretty solid, thick, and well constructed. It also matched the color of my fan perfectly. It worked with my fan without and modifications, and was a perfect fit!

I used this to allow my ceiling fan to clear a main beam in my garage which is a metal building construction. Worked great on the Emerson HF1160BQ Industrial Fan. It's just a bit tricky to get the wires to go through the the inside of the rod. I had an electrical fish tape reel which worked reel to pull the wires through.
