can this plastic welder be sanded and formed for a contour patch exterior pvc trim or is it more of an adhesive?

I find it to be an excellent adhesive, but have not tried to shape it afterwards.

Will i need to use some sort of backing tape with this product? repairing atv fender that broke in half.

Make sure pieces are properly aligned. If fender is in two pieces, I would strongly recommend at least a 3 inch piece of similar plastic as a backer. Rough up surface apply epoxy, set backer, and clamp. You may also need to apply several fasteners ... flathead stainless steel machine screw is best

Will this bond Polyurethane to wood?

This is for plastic repairs. Not the best product for wood.
