Crock Pot Artisan Oval Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven, 7-Quart, Sunset Orange

This was a gift for a cook. She loves it and uses it 2-3 times a week. The quality is high-end. The shape is perfect for feeding large groups. It keeps the food hot hours after pulling it out of oven. The color is beautiful and holds up to the dishwasher with no discoloration. The lid goes on snug. You won't be disappointed in purchasing this for yourself or as a gift for someone who loves to cook.

This pot is visually striking! It’s just beautiful. The light colored interior is a plus for me because I am visually impaired so I can better gauge my cooking progress. The oval shape allows me to prepare soups, stews and bake bread in a loaf configuration. Also I get the benefits of cast iron without the care and maintenance of my traditional cast iron and carbon steel pans. And did I mention-it’s just pretty! It dresses up my kitchen a little. I really really wanted the purplish color-forget the name-but I saw this and loved it! I have not used it yet. Ha! That’s right. But I have others so I’m not just whistling Dixie OK? These cook amazingly well. Hold and distribute heat well. They clean up well but over time they do tend to stain and the enamel surface will chip on the exterior but won’t affect the cooking but they all do it-even the more expensive ones-not naming any names here but just saying. Now I’m not an authority on this, just sharing my more than 🧸 years of cooking experience. And if this particular item proves me wrong I’ll be back for a correction.

I've used this Dutch oven for both breads and stews. It does an EXCELLENT job with both. It is heavy and quality through and through. I love the colors that they offer instead of just black or gray. I ordered the teal color and it adds some color to our kitchen. I hand wash, as recommended by the manufacturer, so as to have the interior last.

This product arrived damaged. I hope to be able to write a positive review when the replacement arrives. The return process is pretty straightforward. The return process was super easy. The new Dutch oven is perfect. The finish is beautiful! I have 3 others, but I think this is my new favorite. The depth is much better for making sourdough bread, allowed bread to rise without hitting the lid. The finish makes cleaning much easier than my regular cast iron.

Very nice product, happy with the cost and the dutch oven

It arrived with a small chip in the lip of the pot, but, I'm hoping it will not matter. I love using a Dutch oven! Going from stovetop to oven is such a great feature, I can't believe I got along without one all these years! This one is nice looking, fairly easy to clean (though it is heavy & you have to be careful not to bang it on the sink), it does stain though if you use turmeric or something like that, so wash it right away. If you soak it, still 1st scrub w/a nylon brush to get the colored residue edge off or it will be harder to get off later. Had to use a little bleach on mine, like the instructions say. I use mine for almost everything. Sometimes I get my husband or daughter to lift it for me if it's very full because it's somewhat heavy & I've got some joint issues. I'd still but it though!

I absolutely love my Dutch oven. I’ve made so many wonderful recipes using this pot. It’s larger and a smidge hard to clean, but that’s only because my sink is on the smaller side. The lid and rim are cast iron so I do suggest oiling them after washing to prevent rusting. The coating has chipped ever so slightly on the side. I love the color and versatility that this provides. Heats up beautifully!

This is such a lovely crock pot you don't want to get it dirty cooking it LOL. It's very sturdy the color is gorgeous. I have one just like it in a different color. I bought this for my son as a gift for Christmas so he won't use those awful cheap pans you get a the grocery store. Would definitely recommend. UPDATE - he opened his gift and the handle and pot were cracked, probably in shipment. I didn't take it out of the box to wrap for Christmas. Arranged to have a replacement sent...it arrived a few days ago and all is good.

This is a quality enameled cast iron pot which works flawlessly on our induction range. The heat is distributed evenly in this cast iron pot, it keeps cooking times to a minimum, excellent for slow cooking. And cleaning this pot is a breeze. This is a heavy pot so care is needed if your range has a glass or ceramic top. It also works great in the oven. It can be washed in the dishwasher, but I would recommend hand washing. Great product at a great price.

Según America's Test Kitchen quedó en el tercer lugar en sus pruebas (aunque ellos probaron las redondas y yo la elegí ovalada). Pero tiene más puntos en durabilidad que su número dos y el número uno el Le Creuset. La diferencia es el espacio en el fondo para poder sofreír tandas de carne por ejemplo. Yo prefiero que dure más el esmalte, la verdad es que es muy bonita y ya hemos cocinado con ella, funciona perfectamente, se lava facilísimo. Estamos encantados. El precio no se puede comparar con la marca del primer lugar pero su funcionamiento es equivalente. Así que fue una excelente compra. Ya veremos en unos 5 años.

Llego en perfectas condiciones, el esmalte intacto.Es una olla de gran capacidad, la utilice en el horno y en la estufa de gas y todo muy bien.Guarda el calor y la humedad al cocinar.Es una olla pesada por si sola.
